[Rapunzel wakes up Monday morning with a blood-curling scream (sorry, CH7 residents) when she sees a pool of red around her. Great news, everyone! It's not blood. It's just her hair which has taken on the appearance of red licorice! Very sweet-smelling, delicious-looking licorice. She's hoping no one will try and take a bite out of it--it'd just taste like hair, anyway! And biting hair is not a very friendly thing to do.

Still, she goes about the village as usual because this kind of manic chaos enthralls her. And everywhere she goes, things begin to sing: flowers, inanimate objects, and of course, animals and bugs! It's quite the symphony. And they will be singing Disney songs, naturally. With a few variations.

You just better be prepared to be drawn into the musical number yourself! Because Rapunzel will be dragging in anyone she sees.

[Murray is sitting is in the grass nearby among the flowers and the bees. It would be quite a peaceful scene if he wasn't a skull. However on seeing Rapunzel come and everything bursting into song around him, he feels compelled to join in and greet her.]

[Taking a little trek into Beauty and the Beast.]

[She skips around to the singing skull, surprisingly not vexed at all by this sudden voice. She also, apparently, knows this song!]

Good morning, Rapunzel! [For the sake of the song, he knows her name. Never question the mysterious ways of a skull.]

[Beast sees the strange long red things long before he sees and recognises Rapunzel. And when he does that reminds him of something he heard about while trudging through the wiggly forest the other day.]

H-h... H-hello, R... Rapunzel... [This is very awkward. Her hair is disturbing him.] Are... a-are you al... a-al...?

[gleamed]

[She whirls around, a little on edge about people trying to eat her hair--oh, it's just beat. Surely he wouldn't do something like that. So she'll be fine, right?]

Hello, Beast! ...It's my hair, isn't it?

[In her front yard, even Elicia and her stuffed animals out to tea can't help but sing along with her. Why? She's not even sure. BUT SHE DOES ANYWAY.]

[Oh man that is some tasty looking hair... but having recently been a victim on hair-dying gone wrong, Marco refrains from taking a taste, and instantly joins in the singing.]

[Because there's nothing like a blue phoenix to add to the timbre. Dudette, what are they even singing about anyway?]

[ She heard the rumor and has decided that Rapunzel, someone needs to have a talk about female anatomy and why it's not actually a curse.

Of course that means stopping and staring when she's singing. ]

[Oh thank goodness. Because that curse is downright unbearable somedays.

Of course, it will have to wait, because Rapunzel is currently leading a rousing musical number with a back up band of flowers and forest animals.]

Day 1

[Rock Lee surfaces from a bed of flowers, surrounded by sparkles and suddenly with features befitting a Disney Prince. He steps towards Rapunzel while going into the song.]

I can show you the world
Shining, shimmering, splendid
Tell me, princess, now when did
you last let your heart decide?

[Oh, this is one of her favorites!]

On a magic carpet ride!

[And, of course, a magic carpet appears for them. Because how could they complete this musical number without one?]

[You know what the problem with being blind during an experiment is? Walking through doorways that randomly teleport you can get you hopelessly freaking lost. As a result, Asch has spent the majority of the day just wandering around blindly, cursing himself and the world, and just trying to get himself home. This perpetually bitchy state is what he finds himself in when Rapunzel and her musical entourage wanders by, and even he has to stop and stare.

Stare at nothing, mind you, since he can't see it, but that somehow just makes it worse. What. The. Hell.]

[gleamed]

[Oh, good. You are exactly the person she was looking to target, Asch! Because this is a musical number you have to be a part of.

So Rapunzel tromps right up to him, poised to sing, drum-playing rabbits following behind her as she jabs him right in the shoulder.]

Let's get down to business!
To defeat--[KARATE CHOP MOTION that he can't actually feel, but maybe feel the breeze?]--the Mal-noses!

Day 2!

[It's a welcome sight seeing the forest after so many adventures teleporting left and right through doorways. Miyabi's human sized this time around, and is taking a breather under the shade of a tree to replenish her strength. That's when she hears Rapunzel draw near, followed by a bizarre parade of animals and plants and...song?

Yes, song. And actually, Miyabi has one on the tip of her tongue when Rapuzel passes by. Standing up rather suddenly, she looks serious and stern as she faces the young woman.]

You think you own whatever land you land on,
The earth is just a dead thing you can claim.
But I know every rock, and tree, and creature -
[Says a rock--]Has a voice! [Says a tree--] Has a spirit! [Says a random forest creature!] Has a name!

[Rapunzel stops, transfixed. What a puzzling song! It stops and makes her think. Every rock and tree and creature...and they can all speak, too! Of course they can. That was obvious as day!

So she answers right back in song form.]

Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon? [As a wolf somewhere in the forest howls on cue.]
Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned? [...Surely, there is a bobcat grinning somewhere, too.]
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains? [A wind rushing by musically!]

[Oh man singing. Oh man singing Disney songs. Even this flying five year old can't resist joining in.]

[My goodness, she's flying! Normally, Rapunzel might stop to question this before joining in song. But not this day!]

August 2nd

[And while Perona was keeping to the shadows of the tree line because she believes the sunlight will kill her, she notices the menagerie of animals (so cute!) following after a girl with...really ridiculous hair. Is that candy?! How can someone hair be candy?! It looks really good--

But instead of noting the candy hair, Perona feels the need to expose herself. A wicked little smile spreads on her lips and--...did it just get darker all of a sudden? And what's up with the eerie glow from the trees? With the darkness blotting out the sun, Perona slips from the shadows and smacks a talkative tree with her folded up parasol.]

Don't you disrespect me, little man!
Don't you derogate...or deride...
[The twirls her parasol in her hand, and sweeps the ghoulish area with a hand, sliding to Rapunzel.] You're in my world now - not your world!
And I've got friends... [A few ghosts appear from her palm, behind her back, and slip into the trees, unseen.] ...on the ooother side. ♥

She's got friends on the other side~ [They sing, though it's really Perona throwing her voice through her spirits.]

[gleamed]

[Oh, oh, oh dear. This sudden darkness doesn't bode well.

Friends...on the other side? The other side of what? She glances around as the voices come through the trees, forest animals cowering behind her.]
