[Jay pauses to examine his dagger, making sure the blade was still sharp. He then tucks it into his pocket before following.]

[Vincent strides along purposefully, keeping an eye out for more targets. For a little while, it's quiet, but after a couple full days of clearing the area it's to be expected.]

[Of course, they don't have to wait forever, because soon enough more Third Party fighters can be seen in the distance...]

[Jay ponders as they walk, thinking about this mission, what he could learn from it, and what he's learned in the past. He could learn more if he knew how to work these blasted computers. He perks up when he senses something up ahead. More enemies approaching. He tucks his hands in his pockets, gripping his concealed weapons.]

[Of course, the thing Vincent is most concerned about at this rate is transforming... but that really depends on how challenging this set proves to be. He can probably make it without losing it, but... one never knows.]

[As soon as the enemy is within range, Vincent begins shooting, moving swiftly into battle mode again.]

[Jay sticks behind Vincent, not wanting to be caught in the crossfire. He advances very slowly, keeping light on his feet in case he needed to make a quick dodge.]

[Vincent keeps shooting, relying on the gun to take out the majority of his targets. But he also makes use of his clawed guantlet to swipe at a fighter who sneaks into closer range.]

[As a few of the enemies pass Vincent and head towards Jay, the boy hurls his exploding dagger at the one in front. He then charges forward, slashing through another soldier's side with his dagger.]

[Shots ring out as Vincent keeps his part of the assault going, whirling through the attackers once again in a red blur. His monstrous side starts gaining more of an upper hand the longer he goes on but he has no choice.]
