Your characters are shuffling off to their rooms. Each room has their name beside it and only they can open the door. People can only enter their room if they're allowed in (or they leave the door open). Characters will find any requested items in their room already. If they have a requested vehicle, there will be another door in their room that will take them to the hangar to inspect their equipment.

((Mod note: Extra draftees won't experience their Shift Incompatibility handicap in their dorms. :|a))

[Mr. Kennedy is in his room and will accept visitors. He's probably writing to Jilly already.]

[There is a brisk knock at the door before Jack makes his way in.]


Kennedy.

[Archie is writing to Jilly. Just a short note to say they're at this boarding house and it's really clean. On hearing Sparrow's voice, he puts down the pen and closes his journal.]

Come in.

Writing, I see?

[Obviously. Jack saunters in and leans against the wall, just by where Kennedy is sitting.]

Just letting Jilly know we've arrived. [Because it never works to deny Jack information as a way of quelling his curiosity, he's discovered. He props his cheek on his fist.] Are we clear for action yet?

Jilly...will you tell her I...

Nevermind, tell her nothing. And no, we are not--it has been suggested that we hang back, if you can believe that. Bloody Thunderaxe.

[Kennedy scoots back in his chair and gives Jack an unhappy look.] We? We who?

The Archie-come-latelys. The new recruits. Us.

[He slumps a bit; clearly he is not happy with this, either.]

[He grinds his teeth for a second. Maybe this is good, because it means Dawn will spend less time on the battlefield. But she's not the only one. There's Bones out there, and Sayo, and Alexis. There's Buffy, whose above-average strength will be of no use around Shifters--Shifters he can take down. He smiles like he's up to something.]

They don't have to know, Jack.

......No. They don't, do they.

Then it's settled. We wait for the main groups to leave and follow behind them.

Agreed. And no killin' each other, either. Same sides. You got my back and I got yours and we're square, savvy?

[Do you trust him, Archie?]

[He's figured out, more or less, that Jack will do whatever benefits himself the most, and since having Archie to watch his back would be a good thing, yes, Kennedy more or less trusts him. For now, anyway.]

Indeed, Captain Jack.

[Jack nods and heads for the door.]

Tell Jilly I miss her, and not to worry, savvy?
