Your characters are shuffling off to their rooms. Each room has their name beside it and only they can open the door. People can only enter their room if they're allowed in (or they leave the door open). Characters will find any requested items in their room already. If they have a requested vehicle, there will be another door in their room that will take them to the hangar to inspect their equipment.

[ buffy does what she usually does during these arrivals. she leaves her door open -- just in case someone needs to talk some last minute shop -- and sits on the edge of the bed that isn't really her bed, going through her weapons. most are scattered on the bed around her. the red scythe, a few swords, a crossbow, a mace.

this time there is also a (incredibly hopeful, really) carafe of coffee sitting on one of the room's tables with two overturned cups. ]

[Their rooms aren't all that far away from each other, given the last names, and Jack knocks softly once he arrives. He had gone calmly when called, not resisting at all. You might be able to flirt with Destiny or persuade her or fool her for a little while, but you can't resist her in the end. That was a lesson Tia Dalma had taught him.]

[After making sure he received all of his requested items, Shikamaru will be walking along the hallways, taking in what he can about the dorms. He also needs to speak with his group, though that conversation is bound to happen after he's ran into anyone else, and has his curiosity about what incompatibilities some of the other draftees will be facing are satisfied.]

He spent the last few days preparing for it, he's already mentally psyched for it, so he has no problem leaning back in a cozy chair, putting his feet up, and eating the strawberry-chocolate-caramel-and-sprinkles sundae he ordered. Of course, he's left his door open if anyone has anything they need to talk to him about, but right now he's just content to let himself unwind a bit before the fighting stars.]

[Normally walking into a room like this would be a severe violation of common sense for most people. But Adell knows the source of the growling. And he knows what it means. Well... he'll go in anyway.]

[Bowser is standing next to his door. It's one of the biggest doors in this place. But it's not as big as that OTHER ONE belonging to whoever Moro is. He's the friggin KING OF AWESOME, why should someone get a bigger room than he does? UGH! He could just punch someone!

About thirty minutes later, there will be a LOUD CRASH as Bowser decides to absorb the Grand Star. Instantly growing in size, he expands past the rooms limit. A giant clawed foot will be sticking out the door into the hallway. Give him a minute, he'll be able to control his size soon enough.]

[She'd let the robots come for her, but she didn't struggle to leave. And before she knew it, she was here—at a place where her mushi was probably in full-effect. So it goes. Sayo sits on the rather nice bed for the place, journal clasped firmly under hand, and can't help but find herself in awe at the place despite her fear of what's to come. It looks so nice in here... Not at all like a place to house people of war.

The doors ajar if you need her—why would Sayo keep her door closed off to possible friends? not that she's more worried about staying closed up in the malnosso's little room than being prone to intruders. She'll either be on her bed, looking through the journals, or very very possibly figuring out this 'whatever you want' idea and fancying herself a delicious cup of tea at the small table in the room.]

[ Xion, like many, is leaving her door open. She hasn't requested much ... other than a new bow, and arrows. What little warning she had gave her time to bring her swaxe; she's suddenly very thankful she and Sokka found time to get it done. But if she has her weapons, well ... she can't think of much else she wants to ask for. She's much too tense to even try. There are so, so many things that can go wrong with this draft... and she can't get Vanitas off her mind.

Restless, she won't actually stay in her room, much. She'll wander, glancing into other rooms, looking for those she knows, if only to have a way to take her mind off all the variables she won't be able to control once they're out there on the battlefield. ]

[If she pokes her head into his room, he's sitting on his bed, all his gear all around him, ready to be tossed on. His main boomerang, several smaller ones, his sword, all kinds of explosive, his manly bag of carrying halfway filled, his chainmail draped over a chair, his Water Tribe armor and helmet resting on a table.

And Soka... Sokka laying on the bed, barbecue potato chips in one hand, a TV remote in the other, zoned out as he watches Wile E. Coyote try to catch the roadrunner.

Super strength and a rapid healing factor pales in the face of firing 600 rounds per minute. The door is open, his back to it. Feel free to be surprised at his choice of weaponry.]

So that's why he's left the door open on his room. If you look inside, you find Gold lying on the bed, upside-down, playing Mario Power Tennis on a Gamecube. ...Gamecube games look like ass on an HDTV, but that's not a point. He has a plate of delicious-looking Volcano Burgers next to him, chowing on one at this very moment, and his Aipom and Politoed are splashing each other in the pool while Typhlosion is curled up in the corner.

But the waiting beforehand has always been particularly unfavorable. Chouji will likely as not not be spending much time in his own room today, in favor of keeping an eye open for people he knows in the halls. ]

[Vash actually came willingly this time. Having learned his lesson since being dragged down in a towel the first time. Once he arrives in the dorms the first thing Vash does will be checking in with all the "minor shift incompatible" people he knows of. He wants to make sure you all arrived in one piece. He'll be in the halls for awhile until all of them have arrived and he's checked on each one.

After that period of hovering around he'll head for his room with his door shut. Friends will be able to open the door easily and will find Vash loading his pockets with bullets and meticulously cleaning and preparing both of his guns. Don't worry, his arm will look normal if you walk in on him. He just has the extra gun out of it's hiding place for right now. Also - is that rope he's packing? What on Earth could he need THAT for?]

[ Hughes won't want to be much for staying long in his assigned room today- once he's called Winry and Elicia to check in and let them know he's arrived, he's back out in the hall, wandering as he will. Staying shut up leads to overthinking things, don't you know.

Though considering that he'll also end up taking some time alone in there to be sure he's ready for this, it's possible to find him in that room later on. ]

[Yeah, Katara is going to be all over the place - checking in the hallways, visiting her brother and his girlfriend, checking in on other friends (normal friends) and generally doing her best to make sure everyone is as ready as possible.

But when she finally gets back to her room, she pushes the button and orders up a hot tub big enough to swim in. After running through a few forms to get used to being back at full power, Katara fills it to the brim with steaming hot water. While she waits for it to cool, with the steam heating the room, she'll be in her bindings and tunic pants running through some yoga moves to limber-up and destress. The door is shut, but if anyone comes knocking she won't do more than peep through the viewing hole before letting them in to her make-shift sauna.]

[There's quite a few of Yuan's acquaintances in the draft list, especially with these last minute additions, but he isn't too interested in seeking them out. He doesn't want to be around people right now- in fact, the draft came as a welcome invitation to take his mind off other people, especially a certain future Mizuho chief.

Instead, he's gone into the hangar beside his room to inspect the Rheaird he requested. He likely won't use it too much- if a Shifter uses their powers while the vehicle is airborne, it'd stop functioning and crash. However, there was no harm in requesting a Rheaird and Yuan can always keep it with him in a Wing Pack, in case of an emergency.

If anyone wants to visit him, he'll oblige and answer the door, but he's not in the mood for small talk so anyone who bugs him for no real reason will have a surly Renegade on their hands.]

[Yeah on this first day Masaomi is actually not hitting on all the girls. He's actually... not doing much of anything. He hasn't requested anything for the room beyond the pipes he had and the whistles - he should deliver those soon - so here he is on his bed with his cell phone flipped open, and staring sadly at the picture on it.

Not that he's going to let anyone see what the picture is, but this is how he focuses and pretends his life is remotely valued, okay. This room lurking really isn't productive, but he'll be keeping it up for some while before entering the halls to lurk, just as daze as he was earlier. He'll probably just hand the whistles out at the group meeting, he decides.]
