Your characters are shuffling off to their rooms. Each room has their name beside it and only they can open the door. People can only enter their room if they're allowed in (or they leave the door open). Characters will find any requested items in their room already. If they have a requested vehicle, there will be another door in their room that will take them to the hangar to inspect their equipment.

((Mod note: Extra draftees won't experience their Shift Incompatibility handicap in their dorms. :|a))

It would also make sense to not send people who can't fight at all but they do it anyway. Besides, you've had enough wars already, you should be able to stay aside and just... Enjoy spending time with Elicia.

[ Annnnnd being quiet for a few long moments at this point. He would like to be able to do that much, too; just living happily with his family is something he'd always wanted.

But that kind of thinking is naive for him, and he knows it all too well. He's a soldier, and he has been for a long time. This just makes helping easier. ]

We're all stuck regardless. The most we can do through this ordeal is survive no matter what and get back to the people we care about.

[Keiichi is naive. Or at least wants to be a bit naive even if most of his self knows that it's not how things work. But it's always this way, even with Haruhi now, he wants to think that things can be fixed, that she won't be that angry with them, that she won't hate them. That everything can go back to what it was before... But he knows it's a hopeless hope, he would do better resigning himself to have her hate him forever, he should withdraw from the Brigade so she doesn't have to deal with him and avoid having her expel him.

But he has always been a sucker for fighting against all odds.]

You're right. Honestly I do feel a bit more confident knowing that you'll be around... You don't plan on going out to the open fight, right?

That's one thing you absolutely don't have to worry about in my case, Keiichi. I've got a daughter waiting for me to come home, after all.

Who knows, I may even end up heading out to where you are. [ Which means he probably will at some point because he wants to keep an eye on you. ]
