Your characters are shuffling off to their rooms. Each room has their name beside it and only they can open the door. People can only enter their room if they're allowed in (or they leave the door open). Characters will find any requested items in their room already. If they have a requested vehicle, there will be another door in their room that will take them to the hangar to inspect their equipment.

[Vash, you've just earnt Link's admiration.] I hate having to kill people... maybe I should get some rope, too. It's really different if it's just a monster.

[But people? Even killing Yuber had made him feel ill.]

Yeah, it couldn't hurt. I just asked the system for a lot of extra rope and they gave it to me.

[blessedbyfarore]

Right... I'll do that. [Looking mildly sheepish, he holds up his hands - the gauntlets he's wearing are bright, glossy gold.] These make me really strong, and I'll have my bow - I'm going to try and hit their wings from far away. Just one, so they can't get closer.

[goldenglasses]

[Vash nods.] I was thinking of doing the same thing. If I can't hit their wings then I'd target their legs.

[blessedbyfarore]

They'd still be able to use weapons then, though... their wings will make it harder for them to focus. [He looks a little troubled, though - they're talking about inflicting pain on living beings. How is that Heroic?]

[goldenglasses]

[Vash has an idea on what's troubling you. He's feeling the same way.] We'll only do what we have to in order to protect ourselves and those around us. No more than that.

[blessedbyfarore]

[Link nods slowly, although he still looks bothered.] Yeah... stop them from hurting anyone else.

[He could fight, certainly. But he had taught himself sword combat against reanimated skeletons and mindless lizards, had taught to avoid charging beasts and swinging claws.]

[Even animals could be moderately bright, but intelligent beings - other people - were a whole new thing. Even fighting and killing Yuber had made him feel ill at the time. In Hyrule, he had had no choice - it would have fallen to Ganondorf, otherwise. But this...]

[It wasn't their fight.]

I wish we didn't have to do this.

I do too.

[Link sighs, then straightens up a little, determined not to dwell on darker things. They can't change things - all they can do is try to minimise the number of people that get killed.]

[Nodding to the buzzer, he asks idly,] Have you got something to eat? It won't be good to go out hungry, huh?

[goldenglasses]

Well... [Thinking of that empty box of donuts already in his garbage.] ...I wanted to make sure I was ready before I sat down to [more donuts] something to eat.

[blessedbyfarore]

[Hey now, donuts are a perfectly valid foodstuff.] Ah, I guess that makes sense. I've already got lots of equipment - I made sure to ask for lots of blue potion this time. It heals you and restores magic.

[goldenglasses]

And it's just called blue potion? [I THOUGHT IT WAS THE RE-no wait, original Zelda... wrong Zelda game.] Something that impressive sounding should have a more impressive name!

[blessedbyfarore]

I guess so! But it's potion and it's blue, so I guess they just called it that. There's also red potion, which heals you, and green potion, which fixes your magic. They don't taste nice, though.

[Red potion is bitter, green potion is chalky... blue potion manages to be both and has an aftertaste of fish.]

Ah, why can't they make a medicine that tastes good?

[blessedbyfarore]

It probably wouldn't work as good if it tasted nice. [Pause. Although...] Getting healed by fairies is okay, though. It just sort of tickles.

[goldenglasses]

Fairies?

[blessedbyfarore]

Uh huh - they're about this big [he holds his fingers about an inch apart] but they glow really brightly, so you can't see much. And they have bigger wings. The pink ones are healing fairies.

My friend Navi from home is a guardian fairy. That kind can talk and help you.

[goldenglasses]

They sound nice, I wish we had a few here with us right now.

Yeah - they'd be really useful. I wish the village had a fairy fountain or something.

Oh, I didn't know fairies needed fountains.

[blessedbyfarore]

Well, that's where you find them. They're secret areas and there's this pond with really bright water, and there's some pillars, and the fairies are around that. They're really good to find if you're hurt.

[goldenglasses]

As long as you know where to look, sounds like it might be hard to find them if you're really hurt.

Sometimes. [He shrugs a little.] I found a whole lot - there's one in the graveyard, one in the forest near the meadow, one in the desert... there's also Great Fairy Fountains, but they're different.
