Your characters are shuffling off to their rooms. Each room has their name beside it and only they can open the door. People can only enter their room if they're allowed in (or they leave the door open). Characters will find any requested items in their room already. If they have a requested vehicle, there will be another door in their room that will take them to the hangar to inspect their equipment.

[She smiles faintly, though holds up a small pouch in answer.] I've been dropping off curative supplies with everyone, or doing my best to anyway. A healer can't be everywhere on the battlefield.

[He gestures to the bed. Not in THAT way, mind you--just to offer her a place to sit while he continues pacing. Eyebrows raised at that pouch, but he certainly is not going to turn it down.]

You're an Angel of Mercy, darling Raine.

[wise_maiden]

[She tilts her head at the offer, but isn't going to refuse it. There is something... comfortable about the Pirate despite the fact that he got her drink one time.]

I wouldn't go that far. In any case, I know you're bound to get yourself into trouble somehow.

[all7seas]

Trouble, darling, is just that thing what I like to cause for others and avoid for myself as much as possible. [Jack takes a seat in a chair by the wall.] Drink?

[wise_maiden]

I'm going to have to pass on the offer tonight, Captain. [She shakes her head a little.] Unless you do mean a glass of water, or something like that. I need a clear head for tomorrow. Alertness.

[all7seas]

[In answer, Jack requests and receives a glass of water for Raine. It has a small cocktail umbrella lodged in the top, but there's no liquor in it.] For you and your remarkably clear head, darling. Cheers.

[wise_maiden]

I thank you. [A considering pause after she takes the drink.] What are your plans for out there? You seem restless.

[all7seas]

Not gettin' killed, Mistress, is priority one, of course. [But he fidgets and opens his flask for a quick drink. He IS restless. Very.] I hope not to need your bag of healing.

[wise_maiden]

There are items in there that will just help you feel refreshed once more, if nothing else. Ease the weariness of fighting for a few hours. Though of course there's no better cure for that than rest, itself... but we have little choice in situations like this.

[all7seas]

Little choice. [Jack repeats this, then stands and continues his restless pacing.] I made a pact with Buffy, you know. No dying. Why can't I get that thought of her out of my head? I keep seeing her wings ripped and--

[wise_maiden]

... You watched Derek die the last time, didn't you? Seeing the possibility of it, so real in front of your eyes. Because you don't know what will happen.

[all7seas]

Aye. [Jack leans against the wall; thoughtful.] Though I suppose not knowing what will happen is to my advantage as well...

[wise_maiden]

Worrying about what may happen will only distract us from the tasks we set ourselves.

[all7seas]

Well. My task is clear enough.

[wise_maiden]

Another thing to keep in mind is that... we don't know what will happen once you're out there. To you and the others who were brought in late.

Aye, bastards. I am, however, Mistress Raine, a highly lucky individual, for a pirate. There's that.

[wise_maiden]

Even so, it doesn't mean you're allowed to get careless.

Do you really believe that of me, darling? That I could become careless?

[wise_maiden]

It's not that I want to believe it. [But she worries, too.]

[all7seas]

I'm always the safest man in any battle, darling; and any man with me is safe as well.

[wise_maiden]

[You lie.]

I'll just have to hold you to that, won't I?

You, darling, can hold me anytime you like. I won't even struggle.

[wise_maiden]

[She just shakes her head a little.] ... In any case. I won't be far from the fighting on those front lines, should you require any assistance. [She looks to the bag.] But as you say, hopefully that won't be the case at all.

[all7seas]

[Jack sobers a bit at that.] Not TOO near the front lines, hmm?

[wise_maiden]

I likely won't be fighting if I can help it, unless someone needs my magic for backup. We'll only know when we get there.
