Your characters are shuffling off to their rooms. Each room has their name beside it and only they can open the door. People can only enter their room if they're allowed in (or they leave the door open). Characters will find any requested items in their room already. If they have a requested vehicle, there will be another door in their room that will take them to the hangar to inspect their equipment.

[Hermione's likewise got her door open for now and she's currently sitting on her bed, reading through her notebook, notes of the last draft open on her lap. She's more than willing to be interrupted, though, and won't turn anyone away.]

[ that's a familiar face. Xion will knock lightly on the door frame, smiling a little at the sight of Hermione reading. there's just something so utterly normal about that, isn't there? it's a little comforting. ]

[Wherever Hermione goes, there will be a book or notebook in hand. It is the law of life in all universes and it will never change. At the knocking, she looks up and smiles, motioning for Xion to come in if she wants.]

Xion! How've you been? [It feels like ages since they've really talked.]

I've been-- [ actually, that's kind of a complicated question... she laughs. ] Okay. I've been okay. [ there's been plenty to make her very happy ... and plenty to make her worried, too. regardless, she'll move into the room proper, hands clasped behind her back. ] How are you?

[Hermione gives an inviting pat on the bed if Xion wants to sit down. If not, she can understand the restless nerves.]

I've been all right. The latest experiment had everyone up in arms I think. [Herself included. In a way.]

[ nah, she'll move over and sit down. at least for now; there's no guarantee she'll stay there. at the mention of the experiment ... she blushes faintly, but shakes her head. ]

Yeah. It upset a lot of people last year, too. [ glances at Hermione. ] ... did it affect you?

They always do around this time of year.

[That gets a very bright, very embarrassed blush.] I think so. [pause.] I can't say I'm entirely displeased with the results, but I do wish it hadn't happened in quite such a public place.

[Hermione, that sounds way worse than you mean.]

[ ... well, that was obvious. blink. .... blink blink. ] .... public place?

...I'm not much a fan of people being publicly affectionate. [Especially to the degree that she and Ron were. Red cheeks are go!]

[Terra pauses at Hermione's room, then knocks gently on the doorframe anyway so as not to startle her.]

Terra! Please come in, if you've got a moment. [She'd love the company.] So, you've been drafted again?

I didn't expect it would happen so soon to me after the last one, but...here I am. What are you reading?

It's better than meeting at an impromptu public dance party. [They'll never live that one down, will they?] How have you been?

[Once she's settled in a little, Mercury makes rounds of her acquaintances. She stops by Hermione's as an especial point. She stands outside and knocks against the doorframe.]
