Your characters are shuffling off to their rooms. Each room has their name beside it and only they can open the door. People can only enter their room if they're allowed in (or they leave the door open). Characters will find any requested items in their room already. If they have a requested vehicle, there will be another door in their room that will take them to the hangar to inspect their equipment.

((Mod note: Extra draftees won't experience their Shift Incompatibility handicap in their dorms. :|a))

[Hi very tall man, she doesn't hear you knocking but she does hear your voice, as faint as it was. She won't be answering the door right away, instead opting to try to regain her composure first. Vash doesn't need another person to worry about right before he goes out to the battlefield.]

[To late girl. He was worried the moment he saw ANY name on that list. He tries knocking again.] Kaori? Are you alright?

No. [It escapes her before she even realizes it's being said. That starts the tears again, but at least they're quiet for the time being as she finally gets up and moves to open the door, her eyes going straight forward once it is.]

[goldenglasses]

[Kneeling right down to your level and placing his hands on your shoulders.] What is it? What's wrong?

[seiriald]

[Even though she knew it was him in front of her, the feeling of his hands on her shoulders did wonders to help her calm down already. Thank goodness she hasn't lost the ability to feel touch yet.]

I... can't see...

[goldenglasses]

You use to be able to see a little bit?

[seiriald]

It's not that... but... sometimes I can see a glow that I think is usually a light source...

[She takes a deep breath, trying her hardest to calm down. Breaking down in front of Vash is not allowed no matter how terrified she is right now.]

It's okay, we're all just affected a little differently when we're brought here. It will come back. [At least... he thinks so.]

[seiriald]

[She shakes her head, though she appreciates the effort to try to make her feel better. Maybe she should stop being so vague, but it was hard to piece together words right now.]

The dark... it's scary...

[goldenglasses]

You're afraid of the dark? [This isn't good. He has no idea how to help you with THAT problem.]

[seiriald]

[That brings about a light blush, because really what a stupid fear to still have, even after five years of being blind.]

Uh... uh-huh... always have...

[goldenglasses]

[Whoops, he didn't mean to embarrass you.] Ah... that's alright. Just, uh, well, there's nothing to be afraid of right now! We're safe in this place and I'll stay with you if you want. [It's about all he can offer for help. It's not like he can get her a nightlight for something like this.]

You'll stay? [The little child in her is so thankful for this offer you have no idea as she stumbles her way back into the room. ;A;]

For as long as you want me to.

Thank you so much, Vash... [And once again she makes her way over to cling to you. You're way too good to her.]

[Vash is happy to let you cling to him as long as you need to. If this is the only comfort he can offer, he'll freely give it.]

Do you know what you plan to do when we get sent out there? [Blind girl in a war. Vash is just a LITTLE concerned. Little meaning a lot.]

I'll be fighting close range, sort of as bait against the Shifters... [Which doesn't bother her at all, she has experience fighting and killing in war. The dark does indeed terrify her more than that as she continues to cling.]

BAIT!? [Okay, who's idea was it to use the blind girl Vash feels a little protective of as bait!?]


I... don't think that's a very good idea.
