Your characters are shuffling off to their rooms. Each room has their name beside it and only they can open the door. People can only enter their room if they're allowed in (or they leave the door open). Characters will find any requested items in their room already. If they have a requested vehicle, there will be another door in their room that will take them to the hangar to inspect their equipment.

((Mod note: Extra draftees won't experience their Shift Incompatibility handicap in their dorms. :|a))

[He tries to calm himself enough to speak.]

Isamu... kissed me on the cheek in front of Naoki, and I... I returned the gesture. That was how he found out.

No, I mean before. [It's the only explanation Sanji can draw that makes sense. That maybe the beginning of this mess has nothing to do with the experiment before]

Did something happen between you two before any of this started?

[He shakes his head silently. They'd been mending things between them, hadn't they? They'd said they loved each other, cuddled, kissed. Things were starting to get back to normal, and then...]

[So it's not that, huh.

With a sigh, Sanji leans back and drops his head back, and aims a silent stare at the ceiling. The one watchful, detached part of himself shakes its head - this is the day before going to fight for their lives, and he's caught in the middle of an emotional drama. What does he even say?]

... I'm sorry, Richard.

[The words just ring hollow to him now. Naoki had said the same thing. Sorry... he'd said he was sorry, and it didn't matter either.]

Mm...

[He just sounds tired, defeated, and beyond caring.]

[Such is the pain of a broken heart.

Another round of silence brings Sanji focusing back to the matter at hand. He reaches for the glass.]

... Oi. [Drink. Even if it hurts to exist, you gotta keep going]

[He'll drink, but it's only because he knows he has to. At this point, he's pretty much sort of numb.]

Do you have anyone here who knows you besides me? [He says it as he takes the glass, once it's emptied, and gently pushes Richard backwards.

If Richard can't fight, isn't in the mindset for battle, then first things first - they need to get him some protection]

... Asbel.

[That's right, the other was here somewhere, wasn't he? No sooner is he pushed down onto the bed than he's trying to sit up again, intent on going to find his friend. Asbel will.. Asbel will know what to do...]

[No. And Sanji pushes him down again, a frown settling on his face]

I'll find him. You stay here and don't move.

[Richard makes a feeble attempt to struggle, but at last just gives up and lies back on the bed, curling back up into his little ball.]

... he has brown hair and blue eyes, and he wears white clothing.

[Because he doesn't know if the two of them have met yet.]

Yeah, that guy. I know him. [Standing up, though first he fetches Richard more water. When he returns, he speaks again]

Give me a few minutes. I'll track him down. [And with one more glance, he leaves to find the man]

[Sup Sanji. You'll find Asbel's door a ways down the hall, in the L section. The door is closed, but it's ajar, at least, so it shouldn't be too hard to get his attention.]

[Well then. Knock knock, and the force probably opens it some. A blond head pokes in]

Oi, Asbel? [he doesn't expect the guy to remember his face - they had all of one conversation - but he's quick to follow up]

Richard needs right now.

[At the time, Asbel was seated on the bed, polishing his sword up for tomorrow, when he hears a voice call him.

...This guy... He seemed... vaguely familiar. He'd definitely seen him before in Luceti... ...Wait, he said...]

What...? Richard...?! What happened to Richard? [Dammit Richard, he was trying to give you some space since it seems like that's what you needed after what happened.]

[Yep. Definitely the right Asbel]

Besides being sick? [And dumped? A sigh] Just... I'll take you to his room. He wanted to see you.

Richard... [Dammit Richard... You should be getting better, but it sounds like you're only getting worse... What are they thinking, bringing a sick man to the battlefield?!

He lays the blade on his bed and stands up, walking over to the door.]

Right... Let's go.

[Sanji nods, and without another word leads Asbel to Richard's room, opening the door without so much as a knock. He doubts Richard has moved since then.

And well... Sanji will let the other see the state of his friend for himself, moving out of the way]

[Asbel walks over to his blond-haired friend, placing a hand on his arm.]

Richard... You still haven't gotten any better?

[If anything, Richard looks worse than when Asbel last saw him-- and that earlier bout of crying certainly hasn't done anything for his appearance. He's still feverish and shaking, and from the looks of things, he hasn't even taken a bath in a few days.

But he does open his eyes when he hears his friend's voice and turns towards him, trying to focus his eyes on that figure.]

Asbel...

[Sanji stays silent in the background, even going as far as to move away, to give the friends some privacy]

[ooc: You guys can thread with each other o/ If Sanji's needed, I'll find out. Got the thread tracked]

[Asbel kneels down at the bedside now to look at Richard directly.]

Richard... You look terrible... How can you be expected to fight in this condition?

[Richard doesn't respond verbally, but when Asbel kneels down, his hand shoots out to grab at his coat. Though his grip may be weak, the message is clear: don't go anywhere.]

[He receives the message loud and clear, Richard.]

...Don't worry, Richard. I won't go anywhere. That's a promise.

[And he just tugs at the coat as if to pull Asbel closer, arm - no, entire body shaking.]
