Your characters are shuffling off to their rooms. Each room has their name beside it and only they can open the door. People can only enter their room if they're allowed in (or they leave the door open). Characters will find any requested items in their room already. If they have a requested vehicle, there will be another door in their room that will take them to the hangar to inspect their equipment.

I think I could say the same, myself. The week...ended on a much better note than it started. [She gives a wry smile.] Apparently Luffy can only stay away from Luceti a few days at a time.

[Her eyes flick to the door, but she doesn't say anything about it.]

[That's right... she recalled hearing snatches from the network of the other woman's friends being sent home. But the journals had been fairly noisy, and there were all the mental things to consider as well.]

He just keeps bouncing back, doesn't he? Perhaps the world doesn't like to let go of him for long. [But Nami had gone once before as well. She wonders how difficult bridging the memory gap must be.]

[She glances back to the door.] ..."all things considered", huh? Survive the experiment okay?

That's another way to look at it. When you all can be safe together, he'll be satisfied. [Even though she can think of another person with a similar mindset who didn't get to see his wish of that happen. Hn.]

I suppose so. [And she also considers; there hadn't really been anyone to talk to about it neutrally with. Not that she often did so, but the candidates for that were slim. Most were too emotionally affected by it themselves for her to even consider them as sharing options.] How was it for you?

Hmm. [Her smile is faintly wistful, actually.] Fell in love with one of my best friends in Luceti. I could have done a lot worse. We'll get over it.

[Not that she's avoiding him now, or anything.]

The "getting over" is eventual. It just seems like the shift itself was stronger this time around. Not remembering it, being manipulated in that way... the feelings seem harder to disentangle.

Too many people knew about it. They insisted on having their fun. [As far as she's concerned, the only basis for such an "experiment" is sheer sadistic voyeurism.]

...I know what you mean, though. Getting caught up in it when you know it's fake is one thing, but...we had no basis to think it was anything but natural.

It flowed too smoothly. And then it leaves too much time for wondering where the experiment controls and does not. [Not knowing where the responsibility falls.]

I'll be with the offensive forces. They could use some support that isn't all muscle.

I know quite a few of the people going, though it's more likely that I'll hang back and offer support from a distance.

Indeed. [A pause, and she tilts her head.] What are your plans?

Sticking close to the defensive area, this time. I told a friend I'd look after one of our non-combatants... and I'm worried about the "minimum risk" people as well.

Yes, it's important that those people be looked after, since we don't know what the risk will be.

Who will you be looking after? [There are quite a few non-combatants, but the one who might need excessive looking after... she wonders.]

[And woefully underprepared for a place like this.]

You'll be looking after Sayo? That's wonderful--I had been concerned about her, but unfortunately I can only be in so many places at once out here. [She glances over to a table, which has a few notes and drawings.] I didn't have a chance to meet with her before we were sent out here, so I'm a little worried about the little time that there is to familiarize her with things.

I'm worried, too. Ginko and I both talked with her at length about the draft, so at least she's not coming in totally unprepared. And I think we can keep her out of any real trouble-- the medical area said they could put her to use with odd jobs.

...I suggested making sandwiches for the draftees, actually. I don't know that there's time for it, but people need to eat.
