Your characters are shuffling off to their rooms. Each room has their name beside it and only they can open the door. People can only enter their room if they're allowed in (or they leave the door open). Characters will find any requested items in their room already. If they have a requested vehicle, there will be another door in their room that will take them to the hangar to inspect their equipment.

((Mod note: Extra draftees won't experience their Shift Incompatibility handicap in their dorms. :|a))

[The sound of people walking by an open door isn't unusual at this point. But Mihai can pick out the sound of someone backtracking--just his experience. He'll look toward the door, then smile toward the woman he sees there.]

To see someone older here? [Mihai sets down the gun, then stands, motioning for the woman to come in if she'd like.] Sorry if I've guessed wrong, but it seems like the most obvious reason to stare. Either way, don't worry about it.

[She does come in, giving the sniper rifle a curious glance, though she doesn't seem put off by it exactly.] Whoever's making the draft really has no sense. But the gun stuck out, too. It takes skill to be a good sniper, doesn't it?

Well, there is more sense in picking me over some. [Mihai catches the glance, then grins a bit when she asks her question.] A fair amount, especially if you're going to market yourself as a professional.

It's been a few years, but I didn't do too bad when I was practicing yesterday. I don't think I'll embarass myself, anyway. [Mihai isn't bragging here; more like trying to simply state facts while keeping things as light as he can under the circumstances.]
