[Right as Vanitas grabs him, Ven tries to escape his grip, but he's just not quick enough, and he ends up going through the portal as planned.]

[He takes the hit, landing face down on the ground. He's got a very brief opening, but unless Vanitas strikes, Ven's going to quickly regain his footing.]

[He leaps back to gain even more distance and prepares to focus in on Vanitas. Maybe if he can nail him with Pulse Bomb...]

[Even if it's just a few hits, Ven will take what he can get and start dodge rolling in hopes of missing that dangerous darkness attack.]

[Ven takes a few hits before he manages to block and counter with his own combo. He'll try and pull some more evasive tactics for good measure because this is getting a bit irritating, and there's one trick up his sleeve that might save his hide.]

[Ven quickly dodge rolls away; he's used to that Thundaga trick by now, though on the way he does take a few hits from the bolts.

However, as soon as he's back on his feet, he launches Tornado right at Vanitas! Have fun!]
