[...Followed by one more swift motion as she says that word, calling up a portal of sorts in front of her.

Which promptly starts to launch a barrage of swords in the direction of the corn field.

Dodging that somehow is... probably a good idea. Getting hit by the entire attack would hurt, to say the least.]

[Knowing already that Nu favours throwing blades around every which way is the only thing that stops her from turning into a fine red mist. There went a third of the corn field-- and Nami's diagonal, crazy wade through the corn is cut short by the swathe of lethal steel that cuts across one side of her. Mostly out of harm's way, not quite enough. Her arm is clipped-- more than clipped, shredding through flesh, scream bitten back to avoid giving away where she is.

She'll just stagger away from that destructive force, thanks very much, her good hand fumbling into her jacket for a handful of small, glass balls, the tiniest of thunderclouds inside them, flinging them out at eye level behind her. They hover, you know.

Then she waits until the sound of Nu's attack dies down before she starts running again, rustling through the corn.]

[Okay, that... didn't work quite as well as intended. Still, it cleared a good portion of the field, so that should make things easier for her.

For the time being, she's simply going to dash after where Nami appears to be, volleying a few more swords in the general direction of the rustling - she's not really paying the glass balls much mind, but odds are one of her swords might end up hitting them.

...This probably isn't a good idea, is it?]

[Prooobably not. Nami herself gave a count of five and then dove flat, fully expecting another Legacy Drive to come mowing her way. A bunch of shattered weather balls makes for a helluva lot of chaos. But hey, whatever does the job.

There's a crack and a flare of light. One broken globe sets the others off in a chain reaction. The sheer speed of the cloud enveloping the field is frightening, dark and powerful.

And then--more or less-- it explodes with light.

Thunderbolt tempo ain't got nothin' on this. You took care of one third, Nu. Nami'll take out the rest... and hopefully, you with it. You said something about lightning earlier?]

[You know, it's bad enough to get hit by Thunderbolt Tempo. But this?

....Yyyyyeah. Even if she'd have expected the globes to create a giant thunderstorm upon breaking, at the moment she's a little too close to actually be able to avoid that.

So needless to say?]

[Considering the nature of what she was just struck by... that's more than enough to make her go down to the ground with a rather loud - if still mechanical-sounding - shriek. Ow.

...Yeah, this one's probably down for the count. Stupid electricity.]

... well, she wouldn't say easy, per se. Her arm's a wreck and she's bleeding from two other places, but she can limp home from here if need be. Probably without falling over on the way, even.

But. There's no power cap. And Nami's hella more powerful, but...

...but they had no power cap before. So it should be okay.

Just in case.]

[So the corn field's a mess. Blackened and charred ~~and popped~~ corn all over the place, and one murakumo unit down for the count (apparently). Heck, even the area around the corn field looks like a superheated cyclone just blew through it. Maybe it did.

One navigator standing up in the middle of the field, limping a little closer to Nu now. DOES SHE GET UP.]

[...Nope. No movement here. ν-13 is not available right now. ~~Please leave a message after the beep.~~]

[Not taking the very easy, obvious bait. Well.

Good.

Let's just...back away slowly for a bit until she gets some distance. But she dares to feel some relief, even. If Nu's staying down, she can consider this a win.

...tactically, she should finish the job. But Nami's not a murderer. And then there's Sayo...

[And while Nami was so hoping that someone would arrive, this isn't exactly the help she was wanting. Yuber happened to be nearby and saw that thunderstorm and can see Nami and Nu.

Nami probably won't catch Yuber right away, because the first thing that will be able to be seen is his Bone Dragon (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-P0puWIaYck#t=9m00s). Nami may also recognize the hellsteed (http://i38.tinypic.com/2n8vvxv.png). In the air is an azzodess (http://i33.tinypic.com/doazwh.png) and Yuber is behind all of them in his black plate mail.

Since the Bone Dragon arrives first, it will be attacking Nami with a huge sweeping tail strike.]

[You can't see the real Nami's face, Yuber, but the mirage!Nami stares past the monsters wide-eyed at the figure in black just as the tail cuts straight through her. In another two seconds, it's gone. There is no Nami to be seen on the field. Gods willing it stays that way.]

[Oh, but Yuber is so familiar with this trick that he knows very well to use wider ranged attacks. Plus looking at the situation, the annoying girl is likely bleeding and the scent of her sweet blood is likely to lead him to her sooner or later.

He gives the orders to the Bone Dragon and Hellsteed to search out Nami and they do so. The Bone Dragon with sweeping tail swipes and clawing around and the hellsteed is trying to sniff her out. The azzodess is watching the air for the Third Party and Yuber is also looking for signs of Nami along with watching Nu's prone form to make sure she's not in danger.]

[The hellsteed is killable by lightning. She knows that much. She'll deal with it first, in that instance. Right now, Nami thinks her best bet is running--

--Sayo--

--god willing someone else saw that thundercloud and is coming to investigate. For now she'll stall.

Okay. Let's put Nami back on the playing field.]

[Five of her, to be precise, arranged across the edge of the corn field, swinging her staff up in unison.]

Thunder charge.

[And the tip of the staff on each copy crackles to life with electricity.]

[The lightning is indeed effective on the hellsteed, but then it is pretty much strong cannon fodder and already was a bit injured from Third Party soliders earlier. It will go down, but not before it attacks a Nami or two that are likely fake ones.

The Bone Dragon also is going to try and narrow down the field with another tail swipe to go after as many of the remaining ones as possible.

Yuber frowns, the smell of the lightning is making it hard to detect the smell of blood that likely was going to give Nami away. Still, she's got to be injured after dealing with Nu so he will find some tell tale sign of where she's hiding. He knows full well that likely all those Namis are fake and the real one is hidden somewhere.]

[Ahem. Nami, the demon and his entourage of monsters aren't the only ones you should be paying attention to. Why?

Because a certain silver-haired Murakumo isn't unconscious, contrary to how she may have seemed. Remaining as still as possible for a few moments can be quite helpful, to say the least!

...Although ν-13 was initially hoping to catch Nami off-guard with that, but she's certainly not going to object to the help. In fact? She's kind of entertained by the current situation. Which... may explain the smile on her face, though unless either of the two is paying attention, they probably won't notice it.

But remaining on the ground when she could very well be assisting is kind of pointless. Which is why, within a few moments...]

[...She's going to effortlessly flip back up to her feet. If the thunderstorm actually harmed her? There's absolutely no signs of this left. The Azure Grimoire's healing factor is incredibly helpful, to say the least.

That's not to say she'll resume her assault again immediately, though - rather, she'll focus on staying at a distance from the two (and the two remaining monsters) for now, keeping an eye out for anyone else who might have been alerted by the thunderstorm.]

[That was what she was afraid of. That--

...there is no way she can win. None.

The best she can do is delay the inevitable. Or run. And she honestly wonders which is better. If she dies here, the fight is over just the same as if she runs, isn't it?]

[Maybe the best thing is just to lead them as far from Sayo as she possibly can before her luck runs out. Maybe they'll get bored and go back to fighting someone they can find-- which would possibly be Sayo. No. Not an option. (Maybe a pack of Elites and Shifters will fly overhead. Ho ho. Should she pray for that?)]

Fuck you all. The dragon and the steed took out the last batch of mirages. Have some more, taking off in five separate directions, but none of them back toward the waver. Now, we just play for as much time as possible.

...and make one last ditch attempt to put one down, even if it's just for a minute. Her last weatherball is left floating right behind Nu, only this one doesn't need breaking. Give it about ten seconds. Nami leaves it behind and keeps going.]

[And finally the demon spots what he was looking for, a sign of where Nami really was.

And it leads right behind Nu.] Nu, move away from where you are now!

[It may not be enough, but better that she gets away from whatever Nami was planning.

The demon himself will head in the direction the blood leads him to. The dragon noticing its master acting will go in the same direction. The dragon is definitely closer, but it's large size does make it harder to move as quick as the demon can.

They will be attacking at the air, but hopefully between his swords and his dragon's teeth, something will meet flesh.]

[ν-13 doesn't even stop to think about what to do: the moment she hears that warning, she's going to dash away from where she was standing, eventually stopping and turning around, then calling up a barrier. Admittedly, it won't last very long, but if Nami's going to try something soon, that might at least lessen the damage a little.

...She hasn't actually noticed the weatherball, though, so she's not really sure what to expect.]

[The second Yuber yells she knows she's been made. It takes her a bit to remember why. She'd practically forgotten--

Thank you, adrenalin. She snaps her teeth shut on the scream as she sees the dragon's jaw swing close and flings herself out of its reach.

Yuber's blade carves a line across her back and she falls, sliding in the charred corn and coming to a stop-- a highly visible stop-- a few feet away. It hurts. She's had worse. But it's pilingup--

--oh. There's her storm, right on cue. At least she's on the ground already. Have fun with that]

[and Yuber notices the storm appear out of the corner of his eye. Considering Nu was over there and he knows she doesn't do well with lightning the only option was to go over there and get her out of range.

So he leaves the dragon where it is. With Nami now being visible it should be able to finish her off with a bite or two. He'll teleport over to where Nu is and get her out of range of the storm as best as he can.]
