DOESN'T NEED A CUT. People should know how this works, if not, just follow other people's lead. I'm gonna set up some strategist threads at the top, for the four strategists to use if they want to, otherwise people should start their own threads.

[And Frey's also nearby, keeping an eye on his two friends. He's also bludgeoning people, although with his staff rather then a lead pipe. His attacks are quick and effective, aiming for vitals to drop enemies fast.]

[Oh, Frey, you got that enemy down, right? Now with the foe on her knees (yes, it is a female soldier) Masaomi leaps upon her, bringing his pipe down on the back of her head repeatedly, finally shattering her skull after a few repeated blows.

Good, no chance of her getting up. Mind you, so distracted was he with making sure that one doesn't get up that another one with a spear is getting uncomfortably close to him]

[Oh fuck no, you are not about to lay a finger on her Human you damn soldier thing. Her first move involves shifting the earth beneath the soldier so that he sinks up to his knees, trapping him on the spot for the time being. Deciding that this isn't enough of a deterrence she proceeds to sing softly, summoning up a half barrier of earth around Masaomi so that the incoming soldier could touch him as she finally reaches the threat, switching her weapon from the pipe to one of her knives as she engaged in combat with him.

Every time the blade contacts flesh the hungry look on her face grows, a hint of a smile appearing when she took note of the spear he wields. It was nothing against a close range fighter craving blood, feeling the thrill of knowing she's protecting Masaomi and Frey even as more soldiers approach. She would slice every one of them to pieces.]

[Those approaching Soldiers are going to have a bit of trouble, though. Pausing in his movements, Frey's right hand glows a faint blue as a bright beam of light forms, blasting straight at the advancing enemies. The result being that some are badly charred, some scatter.]

[Masaomi looks, amazed, and a little jealous, at both of their magic spams. Damn. Well, first things first, he gets out of the barrier as best he can, rolling his shoulders and looking around for the next enemy. Frey decimated their rants by the looks of it...

But some of them are starting to get up. Might as well rush in to take them out]

[One last vengeful slice at the mutilated soldier's neck, then wiping her blade clean on his wing as she listens for any other close by, trying to detect which of the souls were closest. One within three meters of her right, forcing herself, it seemed. Had she been hurt by that light Frey had made? That was what the glow, right?

Wasting no time she moves in on the injured soldier, not caring that she can still move about enough to fight back. Another close-range, this would prove to be fun as she engaged in battle with her.]

[Frey is keeping an eye on them both as he fights, to make sure of their safety. Normally, Frey would be horrified by the brutality with which they were killing soldiers, but right now there really wasn't much of a difference, was there?

As a soldier comes in close he quickly pulls to the side, dodging their rush and blocking their blade as he gets behind them. Reversing his grip on his staff he flips it around. With a hard blow to the back of the neck and a crack, they're down and not getting up again.

Yes, there really wasn't much of a difference, excessive blood or no.]

[And here, he's finished beating in this girl's head with a shovel. Thus ends the last of the ones that Frey took out with the blast. He looks back to Frey. That's impressive. Only a handful are left here, plus the ones that he saw closing in. So maybe... five or so more, total. He rolls his shoulders after discarding the shovel and uses the brief respite of enemies in his immediate area to pop an Apple Gel that Raine gave him in his mouth]

[Kaori is still fighting with her own soldier, occasionally resorting to flying fists when she wasn't getting enough excitement from using the knife. There are shallow cuts in various places where her opponent's sword came too close for comfort, but she's hardly noticed.

Until her Le'sachi body decides that now is a great time to experience nausea. Good timing, though, since it makes her fall to her knees just as the soldier was making a swing where her head had been seconds before. Help, boys?]

[And Frey, luckily, was still keeping an eye on them both. When he sees her fall, he doesn’t even think before he’s rushing forward to parry another attack from the soldier, making his own opening and slamming the end of his staff into their throat rather violently with a sickening crunch.

If that didn't kill them instantly, it probably will soon with the force he used. Frey, however, is kneeling beside Kaori and checking her over. He didn't even see the missed attack, just her falling and-] Kaori?! Did he hurt you? Kaori?!

[Yeah that's great, loverbirds. Frey, you left the last one or two over by you un-attended. When he goes to get to Kaori, Masaomi takes up the slack there in the form of going in with a quick blow to the abdomen of one of them after swallowing the gel. The blow knocks them into a stumble, which he uses to yank the head down by the hair and putting them in the way of a blow meant for him from the other soldier.


Not to say they are ignorant enough to strike their own, but it makes him hesitate, and Masaomi uses that instant to shove the one soldier into the other and make them both topple. There we go.

[Her breathing is shallow, trying to overcome the rolling waves coursing throughout her body. She knew that without the power cap to protect her these episodes were more likely to happen, but she had still hoped they wouldn't. At least the soldier was taken out, but she had worried Frey...]

I'll be okay, give me a few moments. [Offering up a weak smile in an attempt to reassure him, trying to seek out Masaomi's presence among the souls leaving the dead bodies. Had the other soldiers been felled yet?]

[Frey's got his eye on Kida, ready to try casting again if he needs aid but definitely not leaving Kaori's side. She's a sitting duck and he's not leaving her defenseless.] Kida, I'll cover you from here!

[Both down, okay, now to focus on the new foe. Closing in on the two over there, rushing at them Masaomi punches one in the chin, hitting a sensitive spot and dazing them. the other hits him in the shoulder with their sword, but grunting and buggering that off, he just takes this moment to kick them in the balls before punching them with all of his strength in the chest, sending the soldier off his feet backwards]

[This has gone on long enough, it's time to get up. She can't afford to allow her health to deter her while she's protecting them, or put them in more danger. Struggling past the nausea she runs in Masaomi's direction, listening and pinpointing the soul of the soldier he just sent backwards.

Driving her knife deeply into that one, dragging the weapon through muscle as much as she can for maximum damage. He'd better be dead soon.]

[And Frey, keeping an eye on Kaori from the corner of his vision to make sure she doesn't collapse again, will rush up to the other dazed soldier, aiming a swing at his torso.]
