[Stole his idea, Asbel. Good man. Sanji will just have to trust the guy to get Richard to safety - or at the least, get behind Law - because once the two take off, the chef turns and stands his ground with Tear. He's got friends in that tent.

His body tenses when the first few manage to sneak through the force field, but he's already ready for them. The ones he engages don't make it past the 50 foot marker - they are all sent right back, a mess of feathers, blood, and broken bones]

And there's still the problem of the ones coming from on high... way high. Sanji and the young lady have most of them in hand, but when the enemy is coming on wing, some will take the high route and some of them are. Coming towards the two running towards him for shelter and protection. And his patients.

He does not wish to kill here, but he has no choice. He will make this quick. Before things go more awry.

He centers. Zeros in on his targets, notes his allies' positions well to be sure he doesn't hit them as well. The nodachi spins in his hands as he moves, a move he's done a thousand times before, and will do many times again in the future.

It is instanteous.

The nodachi resheaths. And the airborn Third Party members fall before they can even get close.]

[Her blue eyes widen when she catches sight of the falling soldiers, prompting her to look behind her at doctor and running pair to make sure they were still all right. While she doesn't spot any within sight, she proceeds to sing the Second Hymn, creating another barrier for good measure. She would not move from here until Law or Sanji gave the okay.]

[Whoa, damn dude. Just... Damn. Of course, Asbel hardly has time to gawk at the impressive skills of Law or Sanji. If he loses momentum for even a second, it could be all over for them!

[Richard chances a glance over his own shoulder to see what's going on back there and his grip tightens on Asbel's coat. He's a burden right now, he knows he is, so the best thing he can do is just not move or cause any trouble so that Asbel can get him to safety as quickly as possible. But that doesn't mean he won't try to toss off a spell or two from his current position if he has to.]
