Summary: People in Luceti wake up as something they weren't before. An elf, a gremlin, a vulcan, or perhaps a mermaid? Try living in someone else's shoes... if they can even wear those.
Rating: Not recommended for those with weak constitutions, raging hormones, shipping goggles, or people just too cool and attractive for this kind of thing.

[This is all strange to Albert, but he makes a valiant effort keeping quiet when Caesar comes back. He manages to keep quiet, but his feet might be touched this time.]

[When Caesar touches them, he doesn't say anything. He wasn't sure if he'd find anything, but it was unusual, so it couldn't hurt to check. He pulls his foot back and kneels down to take a peek into the bushes himself. When he spots his brother, he smirks.]

[Damn. Albert does his best not startling in his hiding spot, peeking at Caesar with his hands still clamped over his mouth. He blinks once, then takes his hands and (assuming he is close enough) claps them over Caesar's eyes.]

Not fair!

[Caesar just blinks at this unusual gesture, but he doesn't pull his hands away.]

What do you mean, "not fair?" I found you fair and square!

You're not supposed to kick me! [It's almost as if he's sore about losing to Caesar. But that can't possibly be the case.

...And then he thwacks Caesar with a leafy branch, struggling out of the bush and running back to the big rock.]

I didn't kick any— hey! [Caesar loses his balance and falls backward in a failed attempt to avoid the branch, and he watches his brother run off again. It wasn't a terrible fall since he was close to the ground anyway, so he stands up quickly and jogs to catch up with Albert.] Hitting me with branches? Now who's being unfair?

[He scrambles up the rock, standing on top before looking back at Caesar.

...Or where he thought Caesar was.]

[...oh. He doesn't seem to have noticed him yet. So when Caesar gets close enough, he'll start to climb up the rock, too. He'll probably have noticed him by then, but even so, Caesar will reach out to tug on Albert's shirt to reveal his presence.]

Trying to lose me?

H-- hey! [He gasps, trying to free his shirt.] Let go!

[He doesn't let go, though. In fact, he tugs a little harder on his shirt and pulls him backward. If Caesar wanted to be mean, he'd let him fall, but he wraps his arms around him instead.]

Don't fall!

[Because of his position, Albert has to stay still so he doesn't fall. He frowns at his brother, looking like he's pouting. ...But he's not. Really.]

[Caesar doesn't let go of him until he's sure they're steady enough not to fall.]

[Part of Albert wants to struggle away at the proclamation, but he knows that's a bad idea. So he ends up staying still until Caesar releases him, aiming his frown down at the ground instead.]

[He reaches out to pat Albert on the head. ...this is too much fun.]

You are a worthy opponent, brother.

[...There might be grumble from underneath Caesar's hand. But Albert just climbs down from the rock before something crazy happens and someone gets hurt.]

[Caesar crosses his arms, watching Albert climb down from the rock.]

I think I'm done. I need to get out of here. [Albert declares as he hits the ground, adjusting his bag before heading for the closest way out of the wood.] I'm not acting like myself.

[If that's what Albert wants, Caesar won't argue against it. He climbs down the rock, too, and follows after Albert.]

Will that be all right? You said you felt relaxed here.

I'm not acting like myself, Caesar. It doesn't matter if I'm relaxed or not. [Albert sighs and rubs his arm, stopping in the grass and looking distracted.] You understand, don't you?

[He's seeking justification. That in itself is not normal.]

[Caesar realizes this, however, it probably wouldn't be very reassuring if he pointed this out. He'll just nod, agreeing with him instead.]

I understand. Let's go back to the house, then.

[He nods, somehow both relieved and upset that they're deciding to leave. He waits for Caesar, not looking up at him as he starts walking back to the house.

One minute he's up, one minute he's down. He keeps fighting that lighthearted feeling.]

[Caesar will walk alongside him. He considers staying quiet for the trip back to the house, but he decides not to.]

That still wasn't so bad.

[He tilts his head slightly at the comment.]

You worry too much. But don't worry, I won't say a word.

It's a perfectly rational worry! It's an experiment and I'm ... doing that. I've never even climbed a tree before. [He should be more in control. He still has control of his mind, so he has no excuse!]
