[It's not filling. He could eat way more. But for once he knows that food is rather limited out here. Thanks to Greed, he can probably risk eating some of the fruit growing out here, if he has to.

For now, he eats it, while blinking away the bizarre sleepiness in his head.]

[He isn't impressed by the display, but it does amuse him. As he sits up, he starts looking around the forest.] Nice place.

Ah, you think so? [It looks dangerous to him. Dark, dangerous... and they only just arrived too. Sounds of wildlife are all around them, and it feels so wet. He's never felt anything quite like it]

[He gets to his feet finally. Greed is going to want to take over soon.] You remember what I said about Greed before, right?

[There's a briefly suspicious look and then a glance back at Gold. But finally, he nods]

Ah, I do. [The one that he's sharing a body with. It's a scary prospect, actually]

[There's an instant change of demeanor. His eyes open further, his stance changes subtly, and his usual grin is replaced with a far more malicious one. More notably, his voice deepens.]

That would be me, pal. I'm Greed, the Avaricious. [He holds out his hand, showing off his Ourobouros tattoo as it begins to transform it into a carbon-coated claw.]

[Things just changed. The immediate change of aura here causes Masaomi to take a little step back, and go into a more guarded position. But all the same, he keeps a relatively level gaze]

That's impressive.

[Gold was keeping an eye on Masaomi throughout his little exchange with Ling. He knew the boy wasn't exactly stable out here, and needed to be kept on a leash. When things seem to escalate, though... That's when Gold decided to make his move. He walks over, calmly and coolly. Don't want to make things worse without knowing just what's going on.]

[Greed gives a passing glance to Gold. Great, two punk kids. Just what he needed, some hard luck cases hanging around him.]

It's called the Ultimate Shield. A little trick I have, thanks to being a Homonculus.

A shield, is it? [He shrugs a little, trying to adopt his flippant tone. It doesn't really meet his eyes and one of his hands is all but ready to reach into one of the front pockets of his jacket but... he has his supply pack on still. In case a temp camp needs to be made.]

Ultimate, even?

[Gold keeps one hand in his pocket, hand on Mewtwo's Master Ball just in case things get nasty. He hopes they don't, though. This guy's supposed to be an ally, right?]

'Ultimate Shield', eh? That's a pretty high claim, especially since that looks more like the 'Ultimate Claw' than the 'Ultimate Shield'. Besides, why would you give such an obvious name to your killer technique?
