[Sasuke carries a heavy name, a lot to live up to. He acts like an arrogant git at times, but that's mainly because he's aware of his own ability. Among his peers he is considered a genius, but he has never measured himself by their standards, and it has never really been their approval that he was after. In reality he is full of bad self confidence and iron clad determination to better himself, and believe in himself.

tl;dr: Right now he has a lot of proving-his-own-worth-to-himself to do in the forest, and he doesn't really care if anyone decides to scold or praise him for it.

His willpower is rather formidable. Most of his usual quiet, perfectly controlled ferocity has returned to his eyes. He glances over as he passes her, just the slightest nod as greeting. Once outside, he decides to jump directly to the closest tree, and will be continuing on forest-ninja-style, from branch to branch in the treetops.]
