[Aha! Success. Giles passes over a small pack of trail mix. And an orange.]

I'm glad I didn't disappoint, then.

Ahaha! Thanks! I was starving! I think that cat was chasing me all day! [Or a few minutes, same thing. Peeling that orange.]

[Peeling a second orange.]

I've heard that jaguars can be remarkably persistent, yes.

What did you do to attract it's attention, then?

[Vash takes a bite of the fruit, being careful not to get juice everywhere.] I don't know, does existing count?

In this place? Yes, it probably does.

...we should probably find a safer place for this.

Oh yeah, maybe we should. [Vash gets to his feet.] Let's see if we can get back to the group without any more traps going off on us.

[Giles gets back to his feet, still eating another bit of orange.]

You'll still need to lead the way. I seem to be remarkably...trap prone, at the moment.

Alright, follow me and walk where I walk. [Vash finishes up his own orange as he moves towards the direction of camp.]

[Giles follows Vash and walks where he walks. After he's finished the orange, he stows the peel in his pocket. What the hell, it might be edible.]

[Vash starts on his trail mix and after a few more paces, stops.] Hold on a second. [He looks around for a bit, before moving away just a little in order to pick up a fairly large stick.

With a careful poke he sets off a snare that hastily pulls the stick out of his hand. Better than someone's foot.]

[Giles flinches back when he hears the snare go off, biting back a gasp of shock.

Once he's shaken that shock off, he actually looks a little impressed as he stares at Vash.]
