Where: The main square of the village
Summary: It's Tanabtata, and Haruhi likes Tanabata. As a result, there will be fireworks and a little food and wishes to be made.
Rating: PGish I assume unless people do things in public??


[So it's Tanabata - Haruhi loves this holiday (which other people like too, of course) and as a result tends to force a celebration for it on everyone else. That's why the Brigade has set up lanterns, a few food stalls, a small tea stall and other such stuff outside of the Brigade HQ tonight. She also has kimonos - she'll dress up the Brigade personally and she is dressed in a flashy one as well (and she'll dress up other people who look listless!) as well as bamboo shoots put there to write wishes on.

...There will be fireworks later tonight, but it's a small get together. Just some dishes made by her and some other members of the Brigade and tea. Lanterns to set a mood, and linger. Feel free to get involved however you well please

[Lina bounds over out of the crowd to grab Daisy by the arm.] Hey, you've gotta try this! I can't pronounce the name, but it's delicious!

[The taller girl is startled, but she immediately recognizes Lina, and relaxes. A friend of hers.

She leans down, trying to see what was she eating.]

What is it? There's a lot of food in here... I didn't know where to start.

[...This girl burns it all. Debatable if she may eat as much as Lina.]

[What Lina was eating was a skewer of dangoes. Even as Daisy gets a good look, however, Lina pops the last one into her mouth.]

Leave it to me! I know where to start and finish.

[So it's all good, because Lina is attempting to tug Daisy over to the dango stand.]

[Daisy was going to see what was the sorceress eating, but even Spartan senses are not swift enough to see what had she just devoured.]

Thank you, ma'am. But what were those thi--?

[And she's dragged off, incredibly easy for someone that is a little over five feet.

But when they arrive, Daisy looks curious at the little fried balls on skewers... It all smells good, too. She picks one to look at it.]

Don't know! But they're delicious. I've already eaten a ton of them.

[Lina will let Daisy take a skewer before she takes another for herself.] They're like little tiny dumplings. wonder who thought that up?

It's a festival of my world, of one of its' cultures. I think they might have, but I've been in a party like this before...

[Or in a celebration like this at all. She eats one, and her eyes widen in surprise.]
