Summary: It's Tanabtata, and Haruhi likes Tanabata. As a result, there will be fireworks and a little food and wishes to be made.
Rating: PGish I assume unless people do things in public??


[So it's Tanabata - Haruhi loves this holiday (which other people like too, of course) and as a result tends to force a celebration for it on everyone else. That's why the Brigade has set up lanterns, a few food stalls, a small tea stall and other such stuff outside of the Brigade HQ tonight. She also has kimonos - she'll dress up the Brigade personally and she is dressed in a flashy one as well (and she'll dress up other people who look listless!) as well as bamboo shoots put there to write wishes on.

...There will be fireworks later tonight, but it's a small get together. Just some dishes made by her and some other members of the Brigade and tea. Lanterns to set a mood, and linger. Feel free to get involved however you well please

Well for now, I need you to strip! You can do it yourself or I can do it for you.

[Wait...she expects her to strip right now? There's no way in hell. And she is definitely not letting Haruhi touch her]

[She advances. In all of her menacing 5'2 glory.] I'm going to get you down to your skives one way or another, use your head!

[That's still taller than Naoto but short or tall, this girl is acting like the other girls did at the beauty pagent. But can she slip away this time like she did before?]

I-I'm not undressing in front of you! [There's her higher pitched, embarrassed voice]

Are too! Come on, take it off!

[And cue... attempts to tackle/strip/minor molestation and such. Hey, Haruhi might be strong and quick and all but struggles are not totally futile. Actually the goal is to re-dress her in something of her own design but hey, no one said Suzumiyas needed to advertise things]

[She's definitely going to put a struggle because she does not approve of this. In fact she ends up flailing a bit too, trying to push her away with one hand on her head and the other grabbing her wrist]

[And thus ensues a familiar (for Haruhi) scuffle. Being pushed away - familiar - wrist grabbing, this one's more forceful than Mikuru. It's annoying. Mostly because she can't quite overpower the other girl]

Jeez, stop resisting! I'm just getting you in a new outfit!

[Unfortunately she can't seem to get Haruhi off her but at least the resisting is keeping the stripping from happening, kinda]

Show me to a bathroom or something and I'll change into the outfit myself! But I refuse to do it in front of you!

And you might try to escape if that's the case! [After all there's a lot of windows in the room. ...Mostly notably the one on the back wall which covers almost the whole wall]

I won't try to escape!! [She would love to jump out one of the windows but if she did that may make the harassment worse if Haruhi catches her]

[...Okay but this is only because she's more mature now!!

She points to the door for the closet room after disentangling herself from the struggle]

[Oh thank goodness. She takes a deep breath and looks back at the closet door. It's better than changing in front of her, so she walks over to it but before going inside-]

May I have what you wanted me to change into?

I actually didn't pick it out yet.

[...YEP] I mean, I have some ideas, but they would be there in that closet.

[The giant walk-in closest half as big as the main room itself filled with everything from traditional and conventional outfits to cosplay to school uniforms]

[Giving her the 'really B|' look right now.

But out of curiosity, she takes a more careful look into the closet to observe the clothes then a moment later shuts the door. She saw skirts and dresses, that is a huge no-no.]

If I am to wear anything, it won't be a dress or a skirt.

No one said you get a day in the matter.

[Flatly. Jeez, who do you think you are??]

[Obviously someone who refuses to wear anything girly]

I say you won't get out if you don't put on the yukata.

[See look at this thing Haruhi has on! It's cool, right]

[Jeez how long has it been since she last wore a yukata? At least it's long....]

Fine. I'll be out shortly. [Sigh and walks into the closet]

[And she leans up against the wall, folding her wings and generally looking surly]

[Naoto takes her dear sweet time picking out a yukata and changing into it. Not to mention she has a bit of trouble remembering how to put it on but she gets it eventually!

Why is she doing this again?

When she walks out, her clothes are folded and pressed against her chest as she clings to them. Embarrassed? Oh yes.] Satisfied?

[...HEEEEEEEEEE] Yes, oh yes! Not exactly what I would have picked out, but the end result is till super cute! You're adorable!

[There is an excited rush over to Naoto now. ...and some poking and proding on cheeks and such]

There's a muffled noise as she talks through the clothes, sounding like "Stop it! Don't embarrass me"]
