Summary: Dhaos' kidnapping effect wears off, transforming him from a child into an adult. This, unfortunately, places him in a rather compromising situation. Grune's not helping.

The day before, Grune had invited the young Dhaos to sleep in her bed with her. Though rather reluctant to do so given that they had not known each other very long (and sharing a bed was for babies), the prince was, for one, not accustomed to sleeping on the couch, and for another, rather lonely and taken with Miss Grune. So eventually he agreed.

Unfortunately, Dhaos' kidnapping effect chose that night to wear off, and he is now lying in bed, next to Grune, stark naked.

Better hope he wakes up first.

[Norma's had a long few weeks, mulling over being stuck a nutjob place like this, taken from her home, and being without around half of her traveling buddies. It was...difficult to accept, or even wrap her head around. Plus, with Fenimore's previous...occurrence, Norma's been on the downlow and even keeping away from the house as much as possible. It was a stale air in in, made stronger by the fact that she was living not only with Fenimore, but Stella and Walter. These people were supposed to be dead! It was just...strange.

So when Norma barges into Grune's room to wake her, her tone is flat.]

Hey, G-Girl, Little D [Accept your new nickname, Dhaos, you have no say in the matter.] breakfast is ready. Hurry and get--

....

[...Older male in my bff's bed.]

[Staaaaaring for quite some time then...just...

...shutting the door, standing outside it, opening it again, staring, then shutting it once again.

M-My innocence...!]

[Blink. Was that...?] Norma?

[...This is quite quickly turning into the worst case scenario for Dhaos.]

Grune. Clothes.

[Though he's pretty sure she won't have any. Urk.]

[Later--...okay not really later, but a few minutes later, Norma actually knocks on the door before chancing to crack the door open. She may be holding a frying pan behind her back, JUST IN CASE, but she'll at least be more polite this time around.]

Uh...G-Girl? You, uh...okay in there?

Oh, yes, I'm just fine. [A pause.] Do you have any spare clothes?

[This…is going to be a problem. Because the largest person in House 34...is Grune. Oh boy.]

[...Dhaos is beginning to realize this. Yes, this is going to be a problem.

Though he would very much not be seen by Norma, Dhaos... doesn't have anywhere to go. He ought to announce the fact that he's, you know, there, but nope-- she's getting nothing.

...Dhaos just sighs. The situations this woman got him into, intentionally or not...]

[That low thunk is the sound of Norma's head falling slightly onto the door. C-Clothes...she needs clothes? For who? Norma can guess somewhat, and she's not sure what to think. This is Grune! One of her best friends! In bed with some...some person she doesn't know at all! On the one hand, Norma's ready to just giggle and grin like an idiot, but on the other hand, she's ready to burst into the room and crush Dhaos' skull for taking advantage of an airhead like G-Girl.

She doesn't enter the room, and lets go of the doorknob entirely.]

Uh...I can go grab a towel. Or a robe, or...something.

[vhjckds that sounded horrible. And once Dhaos is erm, decent, she is going to question him of the going-ons in that room.]

Thank you! [Her voice is amazingly bright for someone with an unexpected naked man in her bed.

She looks over at the aforementioned unexpected naked man.] Maybe there's something you can wear in here.

[She takes a hold of the covers, ready to fling them aside to get out of bed. Think fast, Dhaos!]

[Dhaos' skull is, unfortunately, a little harder than most, so Dhaos isn't feeling threatened so much as extremely out of place. Believe him, Norma, he's as upset about this as you are.

Dwelling on the possibility of future issues with this will have to wait, however, as Grune is about to crush the remainder of his dignity with a single blow.

Dhaos... grabs the edge of the covers nearest to him. Yeah, that'll help.]

Grune.

[Mercifully, she stops and looks over at him.] Yes?

...I would rather you refrained from doing that.

[He'll just... pull the covers off her slowly. So she doesn't get the chance to try that again. Even if it feels wrong when she's barely wearing anything...]

[And a few minutes later, the door creaks open and a single arms enters the room, holding a simple, white bathrobe. Hopefully it'll fit someone like Dhaos, because it's the only thing Norma could find. She'll wait there, eyes tightly shut with her free hand over them, until someone takes the offered item. She'll even insist.]

H-Here.

[And here comes Grune, moving her usual molasses-slow pace to pick up the robe.]

Thank you, Norma! That's a big help.

[…And then she just sort of looks at it. Is this big enough?]

[...Sigh. Dhaos is a little on the thin side, so hopefully he can at least get it on, but even if he does it'll definitely be... a little short.]

...Give that to me, Grune.

Yeah...sure. [Man, how did she get into this situation? Grune, you really are a huge airhead. Norma lowers her hand and zips it out from the room, tough she still keeps her eyes shut. She does not want to chance seeing anything she shouldn't.]

Tell me if it fits. Or, uh...if you need anything else. I can go out and try looking for some real clothes.

[She...should be able to find the clothes shop. Norma did do some serious exploring the first few days in Luceti - trying to get out.]

[Grune comes to hand over the robe, then…doesn't go anywhere. What do you mean, people need privacy to change?]

...That would be appreciated. [He's not going outside in this thing. Period. ...Hopefully.

He takes the robe from Grune and gives her a flat stare when she proceeds to not leave the side of the bed. Add this to the list of things he really should have expected.] Turn around, Grune. [...Because he's pretty sure she'll leave the door open if he tells her to go.]

All right.

[She doesn't understand why he wants her to, but she unquestioningly obeys his request anyway.]

...Thank you. [Grune is being cooperative today. Small blessings.

So anyway, Dhaos gets out of bed and very quickly puts the robe on, as he doesn't want to be... exposed for too long. It is small.

No, he's not going to tell Grune when he's done. He'll just sit on the edge of the bed and run a hand through his hair, closing his eyes. It's less because of irritation and more because Grune is in a very loose nightgown at the moment...]

[And because Norma isn't willing to let Dhaos and Grune alone together in the same room for more than three minutes at a time, she's knocking on the door again. Thankfully, though, she doesn't open it nor enter. It's just a friendly inquisition this time. The pain is even left in the kitchen. ~~She has a knife instead.~~]

You guys, uh, okay in there?

Oh, yes, we're just fine.

[Norma is being so thoughtful today! She's such a good friend.]

Hm.

[Yes, he's dressed (...a little), but he still doesn't want you in here, Norma. So have a purposefully vague answer.

...He needs to find a way out before the rest of the house wakes up. Really.]

[Well, that didn't sound bad, at least. Still, Norma isn't sure she wants to leave these two alone together. Maybe she should wake someone else? Maybe Stella or Fen Fen or...someone who isn't Wally. She didn't want to leave these two alone together. She didn't know Dhaos at all, except for when he was little and with Grune being Grune...ugh.]

Did that robe work, or do I have to get something else, too? If I do, Little D, you gotta move from G-Girls room, y'know! Maybe lock yourself up in the bathroom or something until I get something that'll fit you. [No more Mrs. Nice Girl! Norma's laying it out flat.] Or else.

Don't worry. The robe worked just fine.

[Grune, how would you know? Dhaos hasn't said you could turn around yet.]
