I'm offering. [He holds out the thermos. It's still far from cold, but hopefully less bitter, by virtue of being the peppermint tea Grune brought over.]

[ buffy drinks straight from the thermos, opting not to fuss about with the little cap cup. she pulls a mild face but then the peppermint hits and...ah. not so bad. not so bad at all. ]

[By himself? Giles could think of a great many names. In conjunction with a nearly worshipful faith in Buffy and names of people he seems unable to shake, who life seems determined to make him think well of...]
