[He can't use Big Bang here... not with Mia so close. It's a risk he's not willing to take. But he does have another idea.

He leaps up over the head of the charging Elite, and flings himself toward the other two Elites heading for Mia. En route his feet burst into flames and he lands between them, a gout of fire exploding out from his point of impact, knocking both Elites prone for the moment.]

[That was excellent.

It would be even better if a fourth hadn't made its way onto the scene behind her. She almost doesn't hear him, but at the last minute she turns, dodging the swing of a sword and just barely blocking another with her staff.

He's too close. If she casts anything now she'll freeze or impale herself in the process. But she can't keep up this strike-and-block for too long, either; the Elite outclasses her physically without effort.]

[With the other two prone and the third recovering from his charge, Adell looks to Mia. ...Oh hell. She won't be able to hold him for long.

The demon dashes for her, and as he runs, illusions of him start appearing too... until the real one appears at the Elite's flank, and Adell punches him away from Mia with all the might he can muster.

Which means that son of a gun is going flying.]

[That third one is Getting Ideas. With a grateful nod to Adell for the help, she turns around and holds out a hand.

Halt Psynergy is at its most impressive when the thing you are stopping is either very large, or very fast. The Elite fits into that latter category and he looks frustrated as anything that he can't move any further.]

[Adell can't help but smile at the foe's misfortune, before he cracks his knuckles. The other two are getting up by now, but he has a plan. The Halted foe isn't able to escape. He glances to Mia for a moment.]

He gonna stay like that for awhile?

[He has no idea what she did or how she did it, but it was obvious she did something to freeze him in place.]
