[Storm nods, before taking off again to get back to managing that waterspout, flying effortlessly through the continuing torrent of rain.]

[There is the matter of a handful of elites coming her way, however. She can manage a few of them at a time, but if she delays any longer, the weather could very well go nuts.]

[Be glad Mia doesn't know that, about the weather. She will fire the strongest Ice Missiles she can muster at those elites, hoping to take them down rather than distract them.]

[Ice missiles are well and good, but aren't enough to down a group of Elites. They do manage to stun them long enough for Storm to step in - rather, for her to gather them into her little tornado. Which, for the record, she's decided has lived long enough anyway. It isn't long before she begins to send it further away, higher into the sky and gradually dissipating it as it goes. It's a long process, but the soldiers caught in the storm drop uselessly into the ocean. They're not technically dead, and Ororo just has to... not think about the less-than-friendly marine life they would have to deal with.]

[her other attack choices were less useful against targets at such a distance. Mia watches her dissolve the tornado in awe.]

[When she finishes, she drops several feet in the air, exhausted from the effort. A summoned gust of wind keeps her aloft before she plummets too far down, however. But she still needs a moment to center herself and catch her breath.]
