There... th-there must be someone... out there. [Besides the experiment giving him a more optimistic voice, he says this to cheer himself as well as Vincent up.]

[He indicates the rose. If only he could find the evil sorcerer Hojo and give him a piece of his mind... but there's been no sign of him here.]

... There are many girls here... you could surely find someone.

[Vincent looks at the other beast thoughtfully and then nods.]

There's no time to be spared. If I don't start now... if I find no one...

[Then there's a growl.]

But what woman in her right mind would ever fall for one as hideous as I am?

[Beast looks down slightly; he knows exactly why Vincent would feel that way. He feels it himself almost every day of his life.

But for both their sakes...]

D... don't think that. [Said almost firmly, like he's saying it to himself and not just Vincent.

... But that won't convince either of them. He needs evidence.]

... There... th-there are many people here... wh-who can... overlook the... h-how you look. ... I think. [He did remember Robert's words right, didn't he?]

[He needs to believe there's even just one person like that out there. That's all he needs, after all...]

[Beast would point out that he didn't run away screaming, but oh right, he's... not what he meant.

Come on, Beast, think about who you met when you first got here!] ... I... I-I met a girl... wh-when I first came here... [Or two. Or three. Or four. ... Why were so many girls nice to him again?]

Not quite knowing what else to say, he will awkwardly start moving on towards the woods after turning slightly towards him.]

[Vincent eyes him for a moment, he seems at least to have plenty of good thoughts on the matter, despite saying the contrary about being cursed himself. He almost wonders...]

[But it would be unfair to pry. So he inclines his head in a polite nod.]

[Oh if only Beast could say. It may make both of them feel a little more convinced.

What he must face... well now there's his sick grandmother, but usually? Himself... who has never always been that easy to face.
