Well...I can add some starfish-shaped buttons really quick if you want.

...um. Why sea slugs?

Fuuko would like thar very much! Then Fuuko can dance off happily into the night, dressed in Fuuko's new starfish clothes.

Sea slugs are just below the starfish in terms of how likable and lovable they are. It's a good thing!

Um...sure. Whatever makes you the happiest I guess.

But I thought sea slugs didn't really do anything.

If it is too much trouble then do not worry yourself, Fuuko will be able to survive! [Can't really be picky when it comes to clothes. She could have ended up with nothing after all!]

But sea slugs are cute and squishy, though not as much so as the starfish. Some sea slugs have a few points of appeal to them that ranks them up fairly high you see.

I can actually do it in about ten minutes if you don't mind waiting. I know you have other places to visit.

...I've never seen a sea slug, so I guess I'll just believe you. Maybe I can find one at the ocean...but I don't want to go to the ocean. Too much water.

[Just ten minutes? Well then.] Fuuko shall wait here.

You've never seen a sea slug? They're like normal slugs, only more colourful and they live in the ocean. [...] It figures a cat wouldn't want to get wet. You'll need to take a bath sometime though, then what?

[She nods and stretches out before rising to her full height, heading into her bedroom to grab her box of buttons and ribbons. She returns with said box, thread, and some needles, sitting down and grabbing the pile of clothes to start working.]

We're not exactly close to the ocean where I'm from. And of course I don't. [Though that seems to stump her a bit.] I'll figure something else out. Duh.

[Fuuko will take a seat nearby so to watch Shiki work, and also to see what sort of star-shaped little tidbits she has.]

Fuuko was not aware of this. Someday, Fuuko will have to find a sea slug for you then, and a tank to keep it in! [...] Most cats Fuuko has seen tend to lick themselves clean. [Yup.]

[She's actually got quite a few that Fuuko can choose from should she like to.]

Good luck. I hope you do find one. You might have some luck out at the ocean here. [...huh.] Maybe I'll just do that then.

[Yay choices! Looking over all the different colours and shapes and-- This one is brown-ish, orange-ish, whatever. And it's fairly big, about the size of Fuuko's thumb. Of course it is also star-shaped. This one must be used! Setting that particular button to one side, as well as a few other star-shaped buttons.]

Fuuko will bring a net to the beach and catch one very gently. Would you like to give the sea slug a name Fuuko finds one? [...] That would take a lot of time and dedication to wash yourself like that. Make sure you eat a breathe mint first too.

[Shiki approves of these choices, collecting the buttons from the girl to start sewing them on one of the sweaters.]

Sure, why not? But if it's going to be your pet shouldn't you name it? [She wrinkles her nose.] Ew. Before and after, probably. Trust me.

[Watching now as her choices are sewn onto the clothing. Eee~ So exciting~ It'll be like wearing a bunch of mini starfish.]

Then we can decide on a name together then. What name would you like to give it? [This conversation is fairly disgusting.] ...Fuuko thinks in this case that it might be better if you just sat in the bath for a moment or two, even if you are a cat.

[Well at least Fuuko is pleased.]

Depends on what it looks like...you know like the color and stuff. It's hard to name something I haven't seen. [Sigh.] Fine, fine. We'll see. I just took a bath last night anyway.

[So pleased. It's almost like Christmas up in here. She should hand out starfish so to get starfish clothing more often!]

Fuuko imagines it would be very colourful. Frilly too. It would be pink, yellow and orange and look very pretty as a result! How about now? [Well that doesn't change anything.] You should take a bath every night, otherwise you'll need more than a breathe mint to smell good.

Hm...probably something similar to the sun. Those sound like sunset colors, don't you think? I don't think a breath mint's going to help my body, but I get the point.

'Sunny' might be a nice name then, but Fuuko worries that that name is a little too boring and overused for a pet. Fuuko is pleased to have gotten the point across!

Yeah, probably. Okay um...what about Ray? You know, like a sun ray. [She's really going to have to ponder this now, but then again come on. Her stuffed cat is named Mr. Mew.]

[...Cat? Isn't that thing a pig?]

That sounds like a great name! In that case, if the slug is a girl we'll name it Sunny! If it's a boy we'll name it Ray! [Providing she ever finds a sea slug-- Wait, aren't slugs trans-gender anyway?]

Are you nearly done Shiki? Fuuko is not trying to rush you, Fuuko is just wondering how long you'll be. [Heck if she knows how long sewing can take.]

[HE'S A CAT. MR. MEW THE CAT >|]

Hm? Oh! Yeah. [She's busy wrapping up that last button, holding up her work for admiration.] What do you think?

[Mr.Oink would have been a better name. Oink oink oink~ =w=b

Fuuko cocks her head to one side, then the other. Then she moves forwards a little to inspect the clothing.]

...Good job! They couldn't be any better!

[MR. MEW. THE. CAT. Sob.]

Definitely not. I try to do the best work I can. [She'll hand over the sweater then along with the other items of clothing.] Glad you like it.

[GET 'EM PIGGY!

Taking the sweater, Fuuko quickly pulls it back on and snuggles into it again. There's nothing like being warm and surrounded by starfish. Of course being surrounded by starfish has a side effect of sorts.] Haaaaaah~ Aaaahaha~ [Starfish daydream trance!]

Um...Fuuko? Are you okay? [What is this daydream trance.]

Huwaaaaaaah~ Aheeeeeeeh~

[Oh she's just fine, more than fine in fact. You see, putting on a sweater covered in starfish buttons is like being hugged by a starfish. As such, daydream trance.

Uh. This might take awhile if she's just left like that.]

...[Sigh. At least she's made someone happy. Shiki's just going to settle again. Time for another catnap, it seems. Fuuko's allowed to do whatever she wants for however she wants.]
