A time for merriment and laughter
Who: Everyone in Luceti!
What: The annual musical rendition of A Midsummer Night's Dream that everyone's been waiting for with the party!
When: From 8:00 pm to later into the night.
Where: At the school gym/auditorium and the cafeteria.
Summary: The big time for the play has come, time to put it on then party!
Rating: G to PG-13 at best.
When the audience entered the school gym, there will be a large stage set up with tons of chairs for everyone to sit in. After all were seated, the play began and everything was wonderful for the most part, there were some minor slip-ups here and there. Yet overall, the play was a success. Once the party had finished and the encores were done however, Frederic came out on the stage to make a speech.
"Good evening everyone, thank you for coming out tonight on this glorious occasion. To everyone involved and to all of you our wonderful audience, it has been a pleasure seeing and being with all of you. Now if everyone will turn to the school cafeteria, we can all dine together."
The door to the school cafeteria then opened to reveal a beautiful nature setting with decorations galore all over the place. There will also be a very large table with much food on it with drinks for guests and cast/crew to eat, drink, and be merry. Tonight is a night for celebration, everyone will celebrate with happiness in their hearts.
[ooc: Feel free to make your own threads, not just post to the first two. ♥ Also due to LJ fail, backtagging is encouraged.]

Can't guarantee Kazooie will be too friendly...
... Of course, Kazooie notices her first. Sitting in the corner? That's no good.
"Whatcha all by yourself for?"
That's what makes her fun!
"Erm..." She glances back down at her food a bit. "Well, I'm new here, so I don't really know a lot of people..."
Indeed it does! \o/
... She hasn't given up on seeing Banjo, yet.

She flails her wings irritably a bit, as though it was Banjo's fault that he hadn't been dragged against his will yet.
"... Anyway," she continues, turning to face Pao-lin again. "I'm Kazooie. Who're you?"

"It was pretty good, actually! Never heard of the "Shakespeare" guy, though. Sounds like a stuffy old coot to me!
... at least he can write some funny stuff."
no subject
Kazooie could always call her Pow-Pow. The gods know I do."Really? You've never heard of Shakespeare? Oh, but I guess you probably wouldn't have, since you're not from my world." She laughs a little. "I didn't like reading his plays for lit lessons, 'cause I thought they were boring, but watching one of them is a lot different!" Even though the archaic language patterns still gave her a massive headache. Doesn't help that her first language isn't English, either.

Actually, even she is aware most of her history is handwaved."Though reading's a lot more boring than doing. Y'know, getting out there and having some real action! That's a lot better than sitting around on your butt looking at letters..."

"But I'm pretty good at sports. Great at Stony kickball! ... Though I had to be a Stony for that; that was annoying. I bet I'd be even better at it as myself!"

"Well, there're two different colosseums for it with different scoring rules. But basically, you earn a point for kicking a Yellow Ball into a net, and lose a point for kicking a Red Ball into a net.
... In some games, you wanna have the highest score, so you kick Yellow Balls into your own net, right? But in some games you wanna have the lowest score instead - just 'cause they do stuff differently I guess - so you kick Red Balls into your net instead!
... The other balls go into the opponent's nets, so you can make it harder for 'em to win!"
Not exactly the rules, but close enough.

Ah, the memories of that minigame."That actually sounds really interesting!" she says. It definitely sounds like a different version of soccer. "Maybe when I get back to Sternbild" -- when, not if -- "I can try out something like that with my friends." Her face falls. "Oh, but you don't remember your time in Luceti when you go back, apparently, so I guess I wouldn't be able to do something like that..."
no subject
... Can't say I'd wanna forget stuff like that, though. How'm I gonna relearn it all?"
Kazooie's lucky she's not from Nuts and Bolts.

This is the closest Kazooie gets to philosophy. Cherish it, Pao-lin.
no subject
"I guess that if we get sent home and don't remember anything about Luceti, then we can't use what we know to defeat the Malnosso," she says. "But then why even send us back home in the first place? Why not just keep us here?"

Kazooie figures the Malnosso "logic" is about the same as cartoon logic - stuff happens at random and sometimes for no reason other than to further the "plot".
no subject
"They're probably being random on purpose," Pao-lin muses. "That way we can't predict what they're going to do, and we can't defend against it."
no subject
... Video games are used to very specific kinds of combat. And in Kazooie's case it's even more exaggerated.

...
She's still bitter about those stupid scones.
