Who: Everyone!
What: Thanksgiving + New Feather party.
When: Evening of the 20th.
Where: School cafeteria, nicely done up.
Summary: There's food. And there's also board games, are you game for some Snakes and Ladders?
Rating: Let's put this all over the board. Strange stuff can happen, man.
[Thanksgiving may not be a familiar holiday to most in Luceti, but everyone understands potluck, at least! Hopefully. Preferably.
It's all done buffet-style as usual. Thanksgiving stuff greets you first when you grab a plate and get in line at the buffet lines (food and drink provided by everyone, Thanksgiving stuff courtesy of the Welcome Centre and Ginia). Though of course, don't think that you have to stand in a line while eating! There's tables and chairs for sitting and talking and— eating, obviously. Reach out and grab a drink! If you get one that's been prepared by the Welcome Centre, it's non-alcoholic. Can't really say the same for anything else brought by others, so you may want to be careful. Y'know, just in case.
'course, there's also board games if you're interested in 'em. Just check out that corner over there!]

He dug into his stuffing thoughtfully. "It's pretty cool to hear that the community is close knit then. Makes it feel less like we're trapped and more like we're living in a tiny country. And I think I'll have to check out that Battle Dome...although, fighting was never something I did just for the fun of it."
Anytime fists were thrown in his profession, it was usually an incidental action. He usually danced away from his opponent quickly, or distracted them with a well placed flash bang or smoke bomb. If he fought, he preferred using his Walther.
"...what was your name again? Maybe you could show me a thing or two about this Battle Dome sometime. You sound like you're pretty familiar with it."

"Yeah, sure," Mac replies goodnaturedly on the way back, "No prob'm. People showed me the dome an' all, so I can show ya how t'work the computer over there for simple things. We can go after we eat or somethin', if you'd wanna. It don' bother me none."

There was also the possibility of true combat to consider. Lupin didn't fully know what the Malnosso were capable of, but he'd heard things and read things in the backlogs that made him concerned...
"Yeah, we can go when we're don here," Lupin continued, "Though probably not for sparring...what, with all this food here and all."

"Hey. What's up?" It was curiosity and concern that drove him to ask.

"You've been here for two months the, right? Have you settled in okay?" He didn't want to pry, but he also didn't like seeing people so upset, even if they were almost complete strangers to him.

A smile quickly formed on his face though, realizing that there was no need to rattle the kid further. Instead, he placed a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, why don't we go check out the Battle Dome?"
A distraction may not have been the best idea, but he didn't want to leave the kid thinking too hard about what he couldn't easily change.
And so, they went!
