Uh... well... I never knew y'like that kind a' thing. [Phew, okay, it's not what he expected; his shoulders lower.] I mean, you's a big... uh... guy, an' y'talk, so I didn't know if you'd like bein' treated like that. It's a lil', uh... [Awkward? Oh yeah.]

I... I-I don't. [Well, he might not mind if it was someone else... like Be... o-or someone!] W-well, I mean... [This... is hard to explain.] I-it's just n-now. I... I-I don't know why... I-I almost don't... a-always... [He rambles more as he starts to feel worse about this. He didn't know his needs would bother Mac!]

Huh... well... some people been actin' kind a' funny these days, come t'think of it. I mean- - [He swiftly presses his hand to his nose, actually managing to suppress a fierce sneeze. - - This sneezin' thing sure as hell ain't normal.

Dammit - I shoulda guessed! [Shutting his eyes, he heaves a heavy sigh in resignation.] ...Aw man. Y'know, m'startin' t'think we could blame 'em for every weird thing that happens 'round here, an' we'd probably be right, too.

[The only response Beast can really provide is a growl. He is getting quite sick of this "Malnosso", whatever they are.

And the worst thing... is that he still wants a pet. He's trying to ignore this fact, so he's just absentmindedly rubbing the back of his neck to relieve the need.] Why us?

I'm thinkin' it's 'cause they can. I mean, we ain't goin' nowhere for a lil' while... so... y'know. [He doesn't much like contemplating them for long - not after having been captured.]
