[ At first he feels that odd feeling that someone's watching him, which is easy enough to ignore. There's a lot of people around and he has a bird out in the open. Of course he's going to draw some attention.

But when Noctowl clenches its talons just enough so it convinces Falkner to turn around, there's absolutely no way he can't notice the girl with her Pikachu. He's momentarily torn between waving and just calling out to her, but instead he decides to approach. ] ... Greetings.

Ah y-yes that's true. I'm not sure how those both became so common, really. But um lets hope nothing happens with said explosives aside from a very good show, hm?

[Keimi leans back in her wheelchair, her eyes never leaving the sky. This sight is amazing. All the sound! And lights! It's nothing at all like the celebrations on Fishman Island, and all the festivities around her brings her back to her childhood, staring in wonder at the human-made lights shining in the distance on Shabaody. Her smile is small, but filled with wonder. Slowly, she was beginning to remember why she was so intrigued by humans in the first place.

She squirms lightly, finding a comfy spot under her blanket, her eyes fixed on the explosions in the sky.]

[Don't look now, Miyabi, but someone is getting a surprise hug (or maybe not-so-surprise, considering how much noise the mermaid's wheelchair makes in the snow).]

That was so pretty, Miyabi-chin~!

[ ... Oh, she just ... accomplished absolutely nothing, but it's pretty adorable to watch. He leans down to her eye level with a grin. ]

Keimi is sitting near the back of Seventh Heaven, having stopped on her way from seeing one person or another, and is in the middle pouring herself a bowl of sake. Then, she catches a familiar face out of the corner of her eye and grins wide, her cheeks red and her eyes a bit glassy. Her free hand instantly shoots up in an enthusiastic wave.]

S-Sokka! [Hic.] Sokka-chiiin~!

[Daisy looks for friends as well, but for a different reason. While she guessed in her early childhood she would have had the same fascination for fireworks, now they made her uncomfortable. A part of her doesn't want to bother anyone, and another wants to simply hide until it all blows over.

But she seeks for company in a time like this, and finds Keimi. In spite of all she is feeling now, remembering the evening they spent curled up together inside blankets makes her smile on the inside.]

Can I stay with you?

[Daisy is still concerned about her size. She is big. And hopes her blanket may be as well.]

[Daisy's reaction is immediate -- superhumanly so. She tells herself to sigh and relax. The taller girl leans back on her chair, and her head turns a little towards Fuuko.]

I don't know if I've seen much like it before...

[And to think she used to joke about explosives back in the mines being used as fireworks.]

[Keimi turns and smiles happily at the Spartan. She picks up the blanket and stands up out of the chair so Daisy can sit down.]

Of course you can, Daisy-chin.

[He glances around. ...Okay, so the crowd is pretty big.]

A party wouldn't be the same without at least a few people.

[Aaand up she goes! Norma squeaks the moment her feet leave the ground, and hangs on even tighter than before, up until she's on the roof. Even then Norma only relinquishes her grip on Ace's arm somewhat, wobbling on the shingles in her heels.]

D-Don't let me go yet! [Like Ace could, with her vice grip on him. Regardless, though, Norma removes her heels and decides to tough it out on the ice and snow. ...It actually feels a bit nice on her sore feet.] Aaah, that's so much better...!

[She can't help but smile when the mermaid gives way.]

[The taller girl leans down on Keimi's chair to sit. As with all chairs, though, she sets her legs sideways to keep her knees low... but the cold forces her to sit straight anyway, and stay below the sheets.

She easily lifts Keimi a little so she can sit on top of the bigger girl, and curls with her. Once the blanket covers the two of them, Daisy instinctively holds her.]

I feel guilty using your chair.

[The tiny mermaid smiles happily, curling into Daisy's warmth.]

...But you gave me a comfier one. This blanket just wasn't warm enough on it's own~.
