New Year's brings images of crowds, and songs, and fireworks; staying up til midnight and watching balls or bells being rung. But Luceti is a different time and place. Whether you're partying with friends or watching the sunrise, what are you doing today?

[ What is sleep and who needs it, Ange certainly doesn't. So you might find her out during any time of the evening or night, watching the fireworks. The difference is that Ange doesn't just watch the fireworks in any normal way - you need a good viewing spot for that. So you might find her standing or sitting on the rooftop of any of the community buildings, in some cases even dangerously close to the edge (don't worry, she's not going to jump off this time..) She might also have climbed up a big tree to see it, so you might be able to spot her up there as well.

tl;dr: Ange is high up being a daredevil fireworks watcher and being fairly casual about it. Oh, she might go and wish her friends a happy new year though. You know, after she comes down. ]

[It's definitely a lot better to watch the fireworks outside than it is to inside, which is why Atsuro's looking around for a good spot to do so. In his search, he happens to notice someone... sitting.. on a roof... ...what.]

..A-Ange?!

[ There's a slight pause before she notices him, but then she just salutes him calmly as if there's nothing special about sitting up on the roof. Geez, Atsuro, get with the times!! ]

Hey. [ raising an eyebrow. ] Is something wrong?

[ctrlaltdemons]

[Sitting on roofs is completely normal, but she's so close to the edge that it makes Atsuro incredibly uncomfortable and hnnng what if she falls... Oh. wait. She did say she jumped off a skyscraper before. ...DAMMIT ANGE.]

Well, for starters, why are you up there? And so close to the edge, too...

Because I can see the fireworks better from here, of course.

[ staring down at him and blinking like it's no big deal. ]

Why don't you come up as well? You'll see.

That makes sense... Alright then. How do I even get up there though? [He starts looking around for some way to do that. Uhhhh.]

[...he recognizes that skirt hair on the person living dangerously on the roof, illuminated by the fireworks. Keiichi have you driven her to the edge already...

Regardless, since he knows Keiichi isn't very safe when it comes to tall buildings, and it's possible he might be there too, Minato climbs up to investigate.]

[ Keiichi is probably inevitably there with her at one point - or maybe she with Keiichi somewhere else, eventually, but for now Minato will find her sitting there alone as if there's nothing weird with sitting on the roof on a pretty dangerous point.

... It's probably why she greets him very casually the moment she spots him up there too. ]

[Touma was sitting under a tree and watching the fireworks. Then he looks up to see... A familiar skirt and might have gotten a peak of that underwear, whut whut.]

W-what the--!? Umm... A-Ange-san....!

[ She casually shifts a little from where she's sitting on one of the thicker branches so she's able to look down, spotting a familiar face down there. ]

Kamijou-san, hey. Also out watching the fireworks? [ said so casually since what could ever be wrong with sitting that high up in a tree.. ]

... [He'll just blink. Why does he know such crazy people.]

Yeah, yeah. I was watching the fireworks like a normal person on the ground. Is there any reason why you're hanging out in a tree for this happy event?

Because I, unlike 'normal people', understand that it's easier to see them from somewhere up high. Especially considering there's no one in your way then. [ as if it's normal. ]

Why, is there a problem with that?

[CASUALLY AS HELL.] You do realize that people can easily see under your skirt if you're standing on a tree branch.

[Well, Ange's not the only one who decided to get a better view; Brendan here's currently sitting on his Swampert's shoulder! So, while he finally decides to settle down next to one of the houses for the best view, he turns a little to see... Ange's legs. Um. Hi, mysterious rooftop-dweller! Let's try looking up at her!]

Oh...

Hey. [He gets the feeling that if he asks "What are you doing?", she'll just shoot it right back at him...]

[ probably, considering he's sitting on a huge.. weird.. Pokémon thing. ]

Hi. [ Saying it back just as.. normally and calmly.. even when she's eyeing the Swampert - it takes a lot to faze Ange, after all. ]

I see you also got the idea to sit a little higher up, huh.

[Um. R U D E it is not weird!]

Looks that way, yeah. [He'll stand up and, with a well-timed jump, join Ange on the roof, returning Swampert to his Pokéball to rest.] How's the view from up here?

[ swamperts are weird, okay. ]

I don't know, probably the same as it was up here. [ shrug. ] What was that thing either way?

sigh.] That 'thing' was Swampert. I'm guessing you've never heard of Pokémon either?

[The good point of Luceti is that it rarely matters what time of the day it is, you can find things without worrying about paying for them. The other good thing are empty apartments and kitchens ready to be used and not locked. Or maybe those are bad points as they make the idea of "breaking and entering" an empty apartment that isn't his to make some hot cocoa be a good one he doesn't even second guess.

Anyway, Ange can enjoy the fireworks alone for a bit longer, but eventually the smell of freshly made hot cocoa will reach her nose, specially when a cup of the delicious beverage is offered to her by none other but her truly boyfriend. Keiichi offers her the cup with a smile while he holds another one for himself. No, there's nothing wrong in seeing your girlfriend sitting on a roof's edge and deciding to go up with her and make hot cocoa in the way up.]

[ There's maybe the slightest moment of surprise when she suddenly sees that cup, and then follows the outstretched arm up to see him of all people suddenly there with her on the roof. ]

... Thanks. [ The surprise quickly fades though, and there's actually something a little content in her expression when she takes it. ] How did you know I was up here?

[breaks_destiny]

[He sits besides her with his own cup, admiring the view.]

I was looking for you, it wasn't hard to figure you would be in a good place to watch the fireworks. And with so many people gathering at the square and the hill I figured you would choose a place where less people would bother you and had a good view.

[The rooftops are a perfect option in that case.]

Of course. I wouldn't want to go somewhere where it's too loud, that just ruins the whole experience of watching the fireworks.

[ and she just.. doesn't like being in crowds that are too big. ]

It's better with a few people. ... Or just two. [ because being just here with Keiichi is pretty much the perfect option to her. ]
