Luceti Town Meeting Cycle Year 5

Who: Everyone!
What: Town meeting
When: February 6th at 6 PM
Where: The school cafeteria
Summary: The village gets together for a town meeting. Let there be ideas, plans, and future festivities.
Rating:
With the help of some friends and friends of friends, the school cafeteria has been transformed into a meeting space. Rows of chairs and a few benches fill the space, providing adequate seating for whoever wishes to come to the meeting.

Along the back are some tables set with cookies, pastries, and tea, juice, and coffee for people to munch and sip on, before, during, and after the meeting

By the entrance is another table. On it sits a locked box with a slit on top, small sheets of blank paper, and a few pencils and pens. This is the message box, for anyone who wishes to express an idea or thought in an anonymous manner. The box will later be opened and all the messages inside will be read out loud by Ginia.

At the front sits a platform - one of the ones built for A Midsummer Night's Dream - with a table and chair resting on top. It's where Ginia will sit during the meeting, the extra height for the purpose of being able to see anyone who may be seated in the back row.

And there is no way to change the limitation of destination?

Again, I'll bring up the idea of using supernatural or magic means. I can teleport a small number over a significant distance, with no harm done to those in my care. Certainly such an ability is held by others as well.

[Horatio does not like the idea of witchcraft, but...]

Could you do it every four hours both ways? Because we need to have the constant stream of people relieving one another. Six hour shifts at most.

Ideally... Ideally, I would like to see six watch stations. Two of those, we know we can use teleporters, so there would need to be four alternate transportations, ready every four or six hours.

[Not witchcraft, Horatio. Divine power.]

In theory, although I doubt I would be willing to volunteer so much of my time as to be your sole source. There may be those able to lay down permanent spells that do not rely on the presence of a person--which, given the workings of our prison, would be of greater benefit.

Do you truly believe you will have significant enough response to be able to implement such a plan? There are ideals, and there is reality. While your proposal is better for both enticing volunteers and keeping your watchmen at their peak, you may well need to reconsider your strategy for what resources you have. What other methods have you considered?

[It's all witchcraft to Horatio.]

And-- forgive me if I sounded like I meant it this way-- I did not expect you alone to provide that service. There are problems, I know. It is difficult.

We need the four compass directions covered-- The east is the sea, we know we can set a watch there. Western is a weak point, and the longest distance to cover. The mountains make me wary to say only one point of watch is needed to the north and south, but the northern mountains can easily be watched by the transporter available. High enough, they might be able to cover the north to the west of the mountains. We need at least one to south, in or out of the mountains.
