Who: Everyone. New Feathers! Old Feathers...?
What: New Feather welcome party.
When: 18th, 6 pm onwards.
Where: Welcome Centre.
Summary: This is a party. There's food and games (if you like) but the idea behind it is basically to mingle mingle mingle. Maybe make a new friend/enemy/frenemy or two?
Rating: G-PG 13 at most? There might be kids in these things, man.

The all-day rain outside makes the entire atmosphere a little drippy, a little wet, a little miserable. But rain or not, the party must go on! Or at least, so the saying goes.

It's a cosy little setup-- food, warm drinks, tables and chairs to lounge around in. So come on in, dry yourself off, have some fun. Why the hell not? The weather outside is frightful.

...Oh my... th-thank you, that's very kind...

[Rapunzel GASPS. Quite loudly.

But she doesn't seem upset. Oh, no. She's wearing a massive grin, clasping her hands together.]

You can talk? That's amazing! I've never met an animal that could talk before!

[Oh dear, another world where ponies don't talk? This is going to take some getting used to, isn't it.]

...um, yes... many creatures can talk where I come from. Though we don't have any humans there.

You don't? This must be pretty strange, then, isn't it? I think mostly everyone here is a human.

But if your world has talking animals, it must be amazing! [In fact, Pascal seems quite drawn to Fluttershy. He climbs down Rapunzel's arm to get a better look at her.]

I think any world is amazing when it's new to someone. As... long as it's safe, that is. Oh, but my world is very safe! [She notices Pascal, her expression warming instantly. So cute...] Hello there, little guy...

I would love to visit it sometime! Maybe if we ask the Mal-noses, we could take a trip there!

[She knows Ami said they weren't to be trusted, but...it couldn't hurt to ask, right?]

This is Pascal. He really seems to like you! And, oh, right--I'm Rapunzel. What's your name?

Oh, that would be nice... I'm sure everyone would like to meet you.

[She can only imagine the attention all that lovely hair would get.]

And it's very nice to meet you too- both of you, I mean. I'm Fluttershy.

[And she would love to meet them. Because talking animals? Amazing. Just. Amazing.]

Fluttershy? What a lovely name! It's VERY nice to meet you as well.

[And Pascal thinks it is a lovely name as well. In fact, he seems to be turning slightly pink.]

Ohhh, he changes colours! He's a chameleon, isn't he... I just love chameleons, they're so very creative.

[Watch out, Rapunzel, you've got her into full-on animal gushing mode.]

[That's alright, they can gush together! Because Pascal is pretty great, isn't he?]

Yes, he is! All the different colors he can turn gives me ideas for new paint colors I can make...do you have a lot of chameleons where you're from?

[Because if so, Rapunzel DEFINITELY wants to go there.]

Well, not a lot... but I think just the right number. Not just chameleons, either! We have all sorts of lizards, and fuzzy animals, and birds, and many, many other wonderful creatures...

[I-is she an animal lover, too? WILL THEY BE ANIMAL FRANDS??]

Fantastic! [Rapunzel tries to imagine meeting so many different kinds of animals--she's always gotten along so well with them, too.] I've only met...well! Pascal, and a palace horse named Maximus, and the birds outside my window. Oh--and I saw a bunny once, too!

[She's very proud to have even met this many.]

Oh, I just love bunnies... they're my very favourite. Where I'm from, I have a wonderful pet bunny named Angel.

[Enjoy the surrealism of an animal having another animal for a pet.]

[Rapunzel had been a little startled by the bunny, to be honest. But she's sure it's really a good animal!]

That's so neat! Did you have other pets? [It would make sense, considering how much she seems to like animals.]

Not quite pets, but at the cottage where I lived, I took care of many different kinds of animals! Squirrels, seals, kitties, mice, turtles, chickens, and dozens of wonderful birds, too! There were so many animals, I could hardly count them all.

That sounds like a wonderful way to spend your time! They must have liked you very much.

[And Rapunzel can see why! Fluttershy is so nice and quiet. Pascal isn't always thrilled about Rapunzel's new friends, but he does certainly seem to like her.]

Oh, well, I certainly hope so. Although I think I frustrate Angel quite a bit. I can be a troublemaker sometimes, you see.

[YOU CAN SEE IT, RIGHT.]

[...Yeah no, Rapunzel cannot see it.]

...Really? You? How so?

Well... sometimes I worry so much about leaving the house, I end up making myself late... Angel's had to lock me out a few times because of it.

[See? She is the worst, just the worst.]

[Rapunzel, who has never really had to worry about being on time for anything ever, doesn't quite see the problem.]

Don't you...like to leave your house? [Because she thinks going outside is kind of the greatest thing ever.]

Oh, I do! Of course I do, I just... um... I get nervous about going to large gatherings or... or parties. And I was going to meet with a princess...

[Wait, really?] You were going to meet...a princess? What was she like?

[The idea of seeing royalty is really amazing to her, okay. ;A;]

She was very nice. And- and beautiful, and so regal, too. She's the kind of princess any pony can be proud of as ruler.

[Yep, this sounds exactly like what Rapunzel would expect from a princess.]

How come you got to meet her? You must be very important to know someone like that!

Oh, no... I'm not important at all. But one of my friends is a student of the princess, so... I was able to meet her because of that.
