[He snorts, a bit amused. Maybe he and Sheena didn't end up on the same sections of the battlefield, but he had thought she would trust his ability to hold his own by now.]

All right. And don't worry -- I know better than to take on a Mizuho ninja, so no sparring. [With that, he turns again to head out. He could wait for Sheena downstairs or something.]

[Rydia accepts the hug, but shakes her head.]

I'm not mixed up, Grune. I remember it all clearly. So does Link--just ask him!

[He pauses, glancing back over his shoulder at Sheena again.]

A Mizuho ninja, of course.

[Granted. She has probably told him that before.

It's the tone, though. The bed of knowledge his words are growing from. He knows what he's talking about. Sheena's eyes narrow and she puts her hands on her hips.]

Fill me in again - where're you from?

[He sighs. Why is he not surprised? ...Ah yes, because of the sanity checking that had been going on this week. But he turns around to face Sheena fully, since this seemed like it was going to be a longer conversation.]

[No master of the blank face expression, Sheena's surprise is absolutely evident.

No, Albert's from another world.

And not the "Sylvarant" kind of other world either. A real, honest-to-goodness other non-Tethe'alla-associated Sybak? What?

At least she's been here long enough to find the proper road to "oh it's an experiment isn't it."]

[Rapunzel gives her a nearly incredulous look.]

Yes, High Highness. The King? [She couldn't have forgotten him, could she have?]

Oh! [Of course! That makes...perfect sense. Except for the part where it doesn't. She'll just roll with it.]

[The very obvious surprise on Sheena's face is just more reason for Albert to not just shrug off this entire encounter.]

[She jumps, whirling to face him with a feather duster clutched in her hands.]

Oh--hello! Sorry...this is a bit strange, isn't it?

Nope. The Albert I know doesn't come from Tethe'alla.

...Wonder which of us is wrong.

[Bemused but stranger things have happened. And it isn't like he has anything of value to worry about, so.] I guess I should--thank you? It's really clean in here now.

[Convincing enough for him! Hiccup is too surprised by the question to notice any weird behavior, anyway.]

Ha-ha, very funny. I've only had him forever. Remember? Evolved from Dragonair? [You were there, pal.]

[Despite everything, the school is still going to be open from the 3rd to the 5th -- tuesday through thursday -- so she does announce, at some point, that she wants her students to continue attending in spite of any weirdness. The differences within each other are something for them to keep note of, and it's not as if she hasn't encouraged them to keep note on things like that before.

So she can be found at school, or on walks around the village, or at the flower shop, at the library, or handling other errands like shopping, visits, and checking in to see how things are being handled at the battle dome, and of course, taking her own mental notes of any of her friends and acquaintances significant alterations. Especially if any prove too alarming.

Of course anyone seeking some semblance of normalcy is welcome to seek her out as well.]

[...And now he's picturing her camped outside the trainer house waiting for him to get back. That...doesn't seem quite right.]

Whhhhy? I mean--thanks for the concern, and all, but--was there something you needed me for?

[BEHOLD GOKU'S AWESOME NINJA TECHNIQUE!! Bwahahahaha, look at Natsuno, not suspecting anything. He has nooooo idea of what's coming to him. Hehehehehe.

Goku wriggles a bit, kneeling under the table. He takes a moment to check his weapon of choice, a messy -but done with great effort and care- drawing with crayons that shows Natsuno and Goku playing in the forest surrounded by flowers and animals, with a rainbow in the sky and the okonomiyaki restaurant on a side. It's clear that it's the okonomiyaki restaurant because it has its name written on a big banner and there's an arrow and floating letters in the sky that say "This is our restaurant, okay?". Natsuno and Goku are also properly labeled as "My niisan" and "I", just in case the drawing isn't clear.

Satisfied with his work the kid nods and looks again at Natsuno's back. Now that he has gotten in position with his awesome stealth skills, all there's to do is wait for the perfect moment to attack. When Natsuno expects it less... And he's not making food and using fire or knifes because that is dangerous and Goku's ears still ache from the day he jumped on Ukyo as she was cooking and she almost got burnt because he had done it while she was busy even if she knew he was coming.

And thus, the kid waits. And waits. And waaaaaits. Okay no, that's a lie. He comes out as soon as the most dangerous thing that Natsuno has in his hands is a spoon. Pouncing at the other with a musical battle cry and wearing one of his brightest smiles.]

[Altered memories then, to accompany the rest. Homura takes a moment longer to grab his journal, then slips through the same window as Ayumu has, though without the practiced grace of his lover. He'll leave a message for the others when there is a private moment to do so. For the moment, however, Homura's main goal is to keep up with Ayumu, who moves as if she has a clear destination in mind.]

[ At least it doesn't come as a surprise when he does jump out, since Natsuno expected as much, but still, being pounced is enough to bring him off balance for a moment - he quickly steadies himself though, despite the kid clinging to him. ]

... Good morning. [ And he manages to sound totally unfazed by it all, it's like a special talent. At least he manages to turn his head enough to be able to look at the kid. Is that kid seriously always this happy..? ]

You sure are energetic already.

Why do you care what coat I wear so much anyway? [Not that it really matters so much to him, it just seems like a weird thing to care about.]

Goku clings and cuddles what he can from Natsuno for a moment before he continues the attack. Trying to shove to his face the drawing.]

Look, look, look! I made this yesterday for you! You can use it to decorate your room! Or we can put it at the living room!

[Which, should be noted, also has tons of drawings already, product of 2 years of living here.]
