[... He does appreciate that. He'd feel horribly awkward if it was anything more.

He slowly pulls back from the kiss, meets her eyes, and smiles slightly.]

"... You could make a soul fall in love, behaving like that."

Hmmmm, really?

[She can't help leaning up and pressing a soft, quick second kiss to Harry's lips before opening her eyes to beam back up at him.]

Love is good for the soul, I imagine. Should I feel terrible for it?

[Your monk doesn't have the least bloody idea how lucky he is.]

[Adele chuckles and leans back, giving Harry's hair one last soft scritch before checking their arms. It's been long enough.

A bit of gauze against the needle in her arm as she slides it out, a bit of thought to heal it over. She repeats the process with Harry's arm and rubs the faintly reddened skin of his inner elbow.]

There we are Lovely. How do you feel? A little heartier?

"Well, I seem to be blushing again. That's a good sign, right?"

That it is. I, however, might need to lay down for a moment.

[She doesn't give Harry much time to comment, just stretches over and pulls a pillow from behind him, sets it on his lap, and curls up right there with her head on the pillow. Cozy. And, with the fluff between them? Not to terribly improper. She's pushed enough for now.]

[... He can hardly object now, can he?

So, instead he'll let her lie there. And possibly stroke her hair.

Maybe.

You can't prove anything.]

Please Harry? It will help me rest.

[And she's tired but turning up her puppy eyes without a bit of shame, curling one of his hands between her own to hold. Nothing improper, just. Trying to rest, and having him here.]

[... Okay, yeah, that did it. He doesn't comment, and instead begins stroking her hair less tentatively with one hand and letting her hold the other.

... It was the eyes. Don't look at him like that. Come on, now.]

[She offers him a soft, sweet smile and kisses the back of his newly healed hand.]

Thank you Lovely. [She relaxes, focusing on his mind and heart rather than those surrounding the clinic, and drifts off to sleep.]
