[Sokka shuts off the machine, pulls up his safety googles, sets aside what he's doing, and levels the flattest of stares at hers.]

What's with the yelling?

That depends. You remember me as Sokka the space pirate right?

[He gives her long enough to start to react to that before speaking up again.]

No, I'm fine. See? Normal Sokka. Came from the Water Tribe, usually pretty cynical, and extremely funny.

[She's thisclose to screaming at him, but when that second sentence comes she visibly relaxes...before rolling her eyes.]

I don't know if I'd go as far as extremely.

Everyone's a critic. [He shrugs, then starts heading towards the sink to clean off his hands.] So I take it you're enjoying the experiment, huh?

I'm pretty sure everyone but me has changed. I had to make sure it didn't get to you, too. [She still remembers her world perfectly well. She died, she played in the Game, she met a low-ranking reaper named Hisoka Kurosaki, and then she went on to win. No big deal.] How's everyone on your end holding up?

[And he's normal. Just like Winry. The only other person from his world that is.]

It's... rough. Katara seems mostly normal, but she has a 'boyfriend' she thinks is from her world. Aang is running around thinking he's Robin. Everyone else is normal, more or less.

What boyfriend? [Not that it's that important, but out of curiosity.] Man...most of my house seems to be normal, but I'm still keeping an eye on them. It's getting to be a lot.

Just... a guy. [He's not comfortable sharing Katara's personal life with Shiki.] But I know what you mean. Hiccup thinks he's a pokemon trainer now.

...pokemon trainer. As in like tiny little monsters? No wonder he was acting so weird when I came by yesterday. What about Toothless?

He's never heard of him. And I haven't seen Toothless around.

...you don't think he's disappeared because Hiccup doesn't remember, do you?

... well until now, I just figured he decided he didn't like the new Hiccup and wandered off on his own. I thought I was supposed to be the cynic?

I mean I don't think it's that cynical. Don't you think we would have noticed a huge cat-dragon around by now? Who knows what they could have done as part of the experiment this time.

I guess it's possible. You do have to give the Malnosso credit for really committing. [Though does that mean Toothless is in a cage somewhere? Poor guy.]

Maybe we should organize a party of normal people to start looking for those who got lost. You know, like Toothless. Just in case...or maybe I'm going too over the top with that.

It couldn't hurt to keep an eye out for him, but where would we even look?

If they wanted to put a dragon into hiding, they'd probably stick out at the far outskirts of town. That's what I'd do, anyway, but then again I'm not totally ridiculously rude like them either.

Well sure. But if you haven't noticed, everything that's not the town is the far outskirts of town. And there's a lot more of that than there is town.

Which is why I said organize a party of normal people. If there's more of us out there looking, it probably won't take that long.
