The fact that he had not known Sokka before the shift began would make this somewhat difficult. Ideally he would like to have a standard sample at his disposal - somebody from whom he could establish the differences between what is, and what should be. Perhaps he should start somewhere simple.

For his part, Sokka remembered Norrington. He was, after all, the one in charge of the sea draft. But without the clothes for the part, he wasn't immediately placing him.

"From what I can tell, it works on people in pairs. Someone from another world thinks they're from the same world as the other person, when they're not supposed to. Or at least, that's how everyone except those two see it." There was always the possibility the experiment worked solely on perception. "I think I'm still from my own world... but it sounds like my memories have been altered to include someone who isn't supposed to be there."
