[She blinks in surprise at the knock, as she hadn't been expecting anyone. But she's quick to head for the door regardless, and opens it up to find herself face to face with Daisy.

A very serious looking Daisy. Nel looks at her silently for a couple seconds before saying anything.]

Hi... Daisy. Are you... I mean, do you want to come in?

["Are you back to normal" probably wouldn't really be the best thing to ask, whether or not it's the case, and she's pretty glad she managed to catch herself. She still does look pretty awkward though.]

[She knows well what Nel wanted to ask, but she understands it. She slowly nods.]

Yeah.

[Daisy walks inside silently, familiar with the inner environment of the house to guide herself through. But she walks along with Nel, wanting to sit beside her. Have company with her.]

[Nel's still not that great at reading other people, but Daisy's feelings are pretty obvious right now. She decides to head for the couch so they can sit next to each other.]

Val's in the sky somewhere. She'll be back later. In the meantime, come, sit down with me.

[She leads by example, lowering herself onto the couch. Only when she's already sitting does she remember she should probably have asked if she needed something to drink. Tea or the like. Well, never mind, there are more important matters...]

So... how are you feeling?

[She obeys Neliel, sitting beside her and trying to even her head with hers. A drink doesn't occur to her.]

I'm myself, now.

I didn't want this to happen again.

None of us did. But that's not something we can control.

[Hmmm, that's not the best way to say it. She knows she sounded pretty cold there. Still, it's true.]

But it's only ever temporary. I knew we'd have the real you back at the end.

[It doesn't affect her -- In a way, she yearns for that cool logic.]

I was starting to guess things were off the moment histories didn't match. I knew this would end.

... It doesn't hurt as bad as last year.

I think the worst ones are the ones where you realize something is wrong before it ends. You become... a little paranoid, during that time, knowing something isn't right but being unable to figure out what it is.

[She nods a bit at Daisy's mention of it hurting less, not really surprised to hear it.]

It... gets easier, I suppose you could say. Somehow, you get used to it. Though one could definitely argue this isn't something you should get used to.

[She nods.]

It shouldn't be. But I hope so.

[At the very least, to come to terms to what was done to her.]

I'm trying to prepare myself when it happens again. Having reminders. Something... [Daisy pauses for seconds. She turns to Neliel, trying to smile.] But this time, it was easier because of you and Val. Because last time this ended, I had nothing.

[Valvalis was the first person Daisy had willingly told of her origins. And yet, that accepted her with open arms.]
