Summary: It's finally here, an entire day dedicated to celebrating the starfish and spending time with friends. Have fun!

After months of planning and roping in poor, innocent people to help out with some of the work it's finally done. An actual festival, all for the starfish.

The morning of the 14th mostly consists of people arriving, the stalls being brought in and decorations being put up. It's all about the preparation! Most of the decorating consists of banners and streamers you might find at a school festival, all hung around doors and windows and between the buildings in the plaza. And star shaped pieces of card being stuck up here and there in places too. If the decorations don't tell you what's going on then the banners saying 'STARFISH FESTIVAL' certainly will.

Come midday the festival is in full swing. There's plenty of food at many of the stalls (either prepared by Fuuko and the other girls or brought in by other villagers) ranging from cake, ice cream and different kinds of sweet things, to starfish tea, sandwiches, all sorts of festival fare. There are a few games set up too where it's possible to win starfish related prizes like pins, badges and even plush toys and some stalls are even giving out wind chimes. Finally there's also a little entertainment provided with music being played in the background throughout most of the festival. (You should totally go listen to Kotomi giving her very own violin recital.)

By night time when most of the food is gone there will be a fireworks display to bring an end to the festival. Hopefully the Starfish Festival would be a day to remember!

(You didn't need to receive an invite in order to come, that was just the girl's attempt at getting word of the festival out there. The festival is open to anyone and everyone to come along and have a good time.)

[Minato takes it, though doesn't put it away in his bag.] That's not a bad goal.

[he nods. Those are valid!!]

Do you walk and listen to music? Wahaha! [he's just being a smart ass now.]

Have you checked out the stalls here yet? I plan on winning at least something.

I haven't tried yet. [Battler does seem like the competitive type...]

[Hey, handling guns runs in his family... he has to have some knowledge, right?]

Minato has no experience with real guns, and he's pretty sure they won't allow Evokers in this game. But he doesn't care.] You're on.

[you SEES and your arcanas!

Yahoo! He gives him a thumbs up and starts walking over to the stall.] There's no way you'll win, Minato-kun~!

We'll see, Battler-kun.

[he's no pushover. Prepare for a long and harrowing battle...]

[Basically...

Okay they're at the stall, and he picks up one of the guns, looking back at Minato with a friggin smirk!! And then he turns to the front again.

Looks like it's one of those games where you get three shots to shoot at the toys on the shelf, if you knock them down you get them. Uuooogghh he won't lose!]

[well, he won't lose either. He picks up the second gun. Are you ready, Battler??]

[BRING IIIIIIIIT!!!

And he takes aim- shooting at what seems to be a stuffed starfish...!! One, two, three shots!! It gets knocked down- but it's not that big either, so if Minato can shoot down a bigger prize he wins!!]

Beat that!

[Well then, he aims for a slightly bigger stuffed starfish. One shot - it wobbles. Two shots - shaking more, so he follows it immediately with the third----]

[WATCHING IT........... ;A;!!!]

[wobbling...

.....right into the toy beside it, which falls to the ground.

It's the same size as Battler's...]

[....oh.... hm...

OH WELL

Battler places a hand on Minato's shoulder.] Ihi~! Looks like we're both the winners! Right-?

[. . .] Right.

[he picks up the stuffed starfish toy...] You giving yours to Ange?

[he nods!] Yeah I will, she'll probably like that.

How about you? You have a girl you'll give it to~?

Well, there's my sister... [~~they can just be siscons together~~ I mean.]
