After months of planning and roping in poor, innocent people to help out with some of the work it's finally done. An actual festival, all for the starfish.

The morning of the 14th mostly consists of people arriving, the stalls being brought in and decorations being put up. It's all about the preparation! Most of the decorating consists of banners and streamers you might find at a school festival, all hung around doors and windows and between the buildings in the plaza. And star shaped pieces of card being stuck up here and there in places too. If the decorations don't tell you what's going on then the banners saying 'STARFISH FESTIVAL' certainly will.

Come midday the festival is in full swing. There's plenty of food at many of the stalls (either prepared by Fuuko and the other girls or brought in by other villagers) ranging from cake, ice cream and different kinds of sweet things, to starfish tea, sandwiches, all sorts of festival fare. There are a few games set up too where it's possible to win starfish related prizes like pins, badges and even plush toys and some stalls are even giving out wind chimes. Finally there's also a little entertainment provided with music being played in the background throughout most of the festival. (You should totally go listen to Kotomi giving her very own violin recital.)

By night time when most of the food is gone there will be a fireworks display to bring an end to the festival. Hopefully the Starfish Festival would be a day to remember!

(You didn't need to receive an invite in order to come, that was just the girl's attempt at getting word of the festival out there. The festival is open to anyone and everyone to come along and have a good time.)

That's a fitting name given how big you are Hulk-san, Fuuko imagines you have a lot of trouble when it comes to going through doors and finding a bed big enough to fit you.

Hmm. I just sleep on the floor. Far as doors, all you gotta do is break the door frame. [This is totally practical what are you talking about.]

How horrible, having to sleep on the floor like that. Though if you go around breaking doors maybe it's some sort of karma that you have to sleep like that. [Those poor door frames.] Please don't go breaking any stalls here just because they aren't big enough for you Hulk-san.

[He sighs at the comment about breaking stalls. Man alright. Fine he won't do it. But he'll reluctantly not do it.]

Won't they just repair themselves anyway? Everything here repairs over time doesn't it?

[Oh. That's true. Good point.]

Even so these stalls are only being used for today so if they're broken it's no good if they start repairing themselves an hour from now. Do things here repair themselves even if they were made not long ago, or if they're really simple like a starfish carving? [Unbreakable starfish. Yesss.]

Uuuh...

Probably not. [He doubts the Malnosso repairs EVERY little thing that gets broken.] Hmm. Why would you want to repair a stupid starfish carving anyway.

The starfish are not stupid so please do not going saying something horrible like that! The starfish are so very cute and adorable and if one broke Fuuko would be at a loss for what to do. Fuuko has never had one of Fuuko's carvings break before!

Alright, alright. Just calm down will ya?

[He has honestly never seen a person so caught up over puny little Starfishies before.]

Fuuko is perfectly calm, but if you bring up broken carvings like that then there's little Fuuko can do to say properly composed.

[... Just starfish? Hmph. Some people just don't understand.]

Why are you so obsessed over them anyway? What is there a starfish club here or somethin'?

If there were a starfish club here then Fuuko would certainly be a part of it. As it stands now though Fuuko is not aware of there being any sort of club like that. When you look at the starfish it's very difficult not to fall for how cute and adorable they are you know!

They just look like starfish to me. [I'm sorry Fuuko! Hulk just... he does not get it!]
