Summary: It's finally here, an entire day dedicated to celebrating the starfish and spending time with friends. Have fun!

After months of planning and roping in poor, innocent people to help out with some of the work it's finally done. An actual festival, all for the starfish.

The morning of the 14th mostly consists of people arriving, the stalls being brought in and decorations being put up. It's all about the preparation! Most of the decorating consists of banners and streamers you might find at a school festival, all hung around doors and windows and between the buildings in the plaza. And star shaped pieces of card being stuck up here and there in places too. If the decorations don't tell you what's going on then the banners saying 'STARFISH FESTIVAL' certainly will.

Come midday the festival is in full swing. There's plenty of food at many of the stalls (either prepared by Fuuko and the other girls or brought in by other villagers) ranging from cake, ice cream and different kinds of sweet things, to starfish tea, sandwiches, all sorts of festival fare. There are a few games set up too where it's possible to win starfish related prizes like pins, badges and even plush toys and some stalls are even giving out wind chimes. Finally there's also a little entertainment provided with music being played in the background throughout most of the festival. (You should totally go listen to Kotomi giving her very own violin recital.)

By night time when most of the food is gone there will be a fireworks display to bring an end to the festival. Hopefully the Starfish Festival would be a day to remember!

(You didn't need to receive an invite in order to come, that was just the girl's attempt at getting word of the festival out there. The festival is open to anyone and everyone to come along and have a good time.)

[Fuuko has already started her decorating work, pinning the streamer as high up as she can manage on the side of the building. It's not that high up at all, but at least she's managing to clear the windows just fine.

She's so determined in making sure the decorations look okay that she doesn't even notice what Grune is doing, still expecting to meet her half way.]

This is going to look great, Fuuko can see it now!

[She'll probably notice when Grune starts pinning up the decorations directly over her head.]

Yes, it's going to be so pretty!

[Grune what are you doing up there. A quick turn to the right... Ah. Fuuko will gently tug Grune along with her to the right side of the building.]

Start here and work towards Fuuko, okay? Fuuko is sorry for not explaining it better, maybe in all the excitement Fuuko forgot to be more specific.

Oh, don't worry. It's all right. [Grune just kinda forgot the difference between left and right, that's all.

And starting in the proper place now...!]

[Success! Fuuko goes back to her end and resumes working along the building.]

It's going to look so beautiful, just like how Fuuko saw it in Fuuko's dreams.

My, did you dream about the festival, Fuuko?

[Hanging streamers, hanging streamers....]

Yes! Fuuko has dreamt about it before, both here and back home. Back home Fuuko wanted to tell everyone about the starfish over the speakers around school. That way everyone would be so happy to know about the starfish they would throw a festival for them.

[But that didn't happen. Sadly.]

It was just a dream back home, but now Fuuko is making it a reality. Fuuko wonders if this is what Emil meant when he told Fuuko courage is the magic that turns dreams into reality?

What a nice thing to say. I'm sure that's just what he meant.

[She pauses to smile at Fuuko.] I'm glad your dream could come true.

Hopefully it is, Fuuko will have to ask him later if he shows up.

[Fuuko turns to smile back!] Fuuko is really glad too! Dreams normally just stay dreams, but this one is coming true!! Fuuko couldn't be happier, it just isn't possible.

And I'm happy to be able to share it with you! [Her smile grows.] Dreams are even better when everyone can enjoy them coming true together.

It's not dreams, most things are better when lots of people can enjoy them at the same time, even simple things like eating a meal!

[It's not like she had many chances to do simple things like eat with people back home, but when she was staying with Nagisa she enjoyed every minute of it.]

What about your own dreams Grune-san?

My own dreams?

[She sounds a little surprised.]

Mmhm, your own dreams. Like Fuuko's starfish festival, you know. Do you have any dreams like that?

Oh, yes. [She pauses partway through hanging up a streamer. Her gaze is focused inward, and there's a small smile on her lips.]

My dream is for the world to be at peace, so everyone can be happy and safe. I hope it can come true soon.

If you work hard and keep believing in that dream then it'll have to come true! It worked for Fuuko so it must work for you too Grune-san. No matter how big of a dream it is.

[Her gaze falls to Fuuko and she smiles; the distant look on her face slips away.]

Then I'll always keep believing in it, no matter what. I promise.
