Event Log - Total Recall

Who: You and you and mostly me and you
What: Everyone's been Shifted in their own way
When: A hero doesn't care if this event last a whole ten days
Where: Everyone can blaze a hero's trail
Summary: It's that special time when the Malnosso collect all their recent experiments and apply them all at once to measure effectiveness. Although invaluable as research, it tends to leave the subjects looking just a bit mad.

So there is a mod post and it pretty much tells you EVERYTHING you need to know. This is a mass log for people to comment around on if they don't want to make posts. Or even if they want to make posts anyway. There will be at least one more of these later in the event! ENJOY!

[He shakes his behind a little, craning his head around to take a look at it--this was going to require investigation. Lots of it.]

...I never minded a girl with a butt. It's not a bad thing~

[He smirks, getting serious but still amused.]

A skirt would be fine. Maybe a couple of shirts--a trip to the shops is in order here.

...I'm not going shopping for clothes with you. This will not become a wacky eighties montage with the track 'girls just want to have fun' in the background. Sing it and I end you.

[She pushes away from the bench and wanders over to her room, pulling out skirts and blouses from her closet.]

...you know I prefer Queen! [He grins as he follows her, intentionally bouncing a little to see how his new 'assets' react.]

We can totally do a montage of it though. Pity that this Shift doesn't include a fast-forward button!

You are right. Fat Bottomed Girls would be so much more appropriate.

[The hangers are offered over to Lupin without further comment. Well. one.]

...you've already bounced in front of a mirror, haven't you?

[He accepts the hangers with a playful grin.] I'm me, Angel. What do you think?

...that you can keep the blouses and skirt for however long you are a woman.

[The clothes are tossed onto the bed without remorse when Lupin pulls Adele into a bear hug.]

I love you. Have I ever told you that?

Twice today, fifty times yesterday, at least thirty on average and twice that if you've destroyed one of my projects on accident. One point five times the average if you destroyed it on purpose. [The bear hug is endured with the same apathy as ever. She does reach around and pat Lupin's back, though. Because he wasn't that terrible.]

hmph. Looks like someone's a smartass!

[He's grinning though, and continues to lean on his friend even as he remembers something a little more serious.]

...Did you get an odd note in your journal this morning?

I've always been the smart one Lupin. You're the...talkative one.

[She shrugs and extricates herself after a moment, or at least makes a vague attempt to do so.]

Unless you wrote me another about 'dancing purple parrots' after getting a huff of the sedative aerosol, no.

[Lupin releases her, and flops down on the sofa nearby, eyes closed as he recites the odd text verbatim]

'This isn't what it looks like.' It wasn't even in my handwriting, but in these strange abbreviated letters that I could understand. Anu idea what it means?

It means that things are not as they appear, most likely. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact you've been shifted into a woman?

[The flopping gets a snort and rolled eyes from Adele, and she continues to pick through what clothing she has that might fit the new, Curvy Lupin.]

...I think you are larger in the bust than I am.

That's obvious--it just feels like there has to be something more to it...

[He glances up at Adele, and then down at his assets. There was a point to her words.]

...I don't mind revealing my cleavage until we can find me a better wardrobe.

Like most everything else you or I scribble down in a mania- it will come to you in a few days. Whenever we're not thinking about it.

[She pulls out her loosest shirt and offers it over.]

I'm not certain about your hips. I think we are roughly the same, there, even if your legs are longer...I reserve the right to borrow your clothing should this ever happen to me, just so you know.

Of course~ [He accepts the shirt and pulls himself upright. It looked like it could fit when he held it open against his body, but that was no clear indication of anything.]

What are friends for, right? I can't promise that mine will fit you...but you better take care of my jacket if you borrow that too.

I'm shorter than you even now, and most likely will remain shorter than you should I ever be shifted into the opposite gender. I don't see myself becoming extraordinarily bulky, either.

[She shrugs and leans against the wall, eyes back on the coffee table to offer Lupin some privacy.]

You'll be slim enough then.

[Taking advantage of the offered privacy, Lupin slips into the offered clothes. The skirt is too staid for his tastes, but fits reasonably enough. The shirt...he had to leave the top few buttons open, revealing breasts that were thus far unrestrained by a bra.

He twirls a little, for emphasis.]

How's it look?

The LeBlancs tend to be on the lean side, for the most part.

[Once she's certain Lupin is dressed she looks back over. The shirt fits him well, if tight but. It seems like something he would enjoy. The skirt didn't suit him at all.]

You look like a promiscuous secretary.

[Lupin laughed brightly at this.]

Better a promiscious secretary than a naked one, right?

If you laugh too hard I think the topmost button that you fastened will pop. We are going to have to get you better fitting clothes.

Is it 80s music shopping montage time?

No. No montages. I'm walking you there, you shop for what you want and I'm coming back here to work. The camera's almost finished.

You really know how to take the fun out of things, you know that?

You find prancing about fun. I find building small complex machines fun. To each their own.

That's fine, so long as I can tear you away from that desk for a few minutes!
