Summary: It's that special time when the Malnosso collect all their recent experiments and apply them all at once to measure effectiveness. Although invaluable as research, it tends to leave the subjects looking just a bit mad.

So there is a mod post and it pretty much tells you EVERYTHING you need to know. This is a mass log for people to comment around on if they don't want to make posts. Or even if they want to make posts anyway. There will be at least one more of these later in the event! ENJOY!

May 26th - 31st; June 5th

[May 26th - 29th will find a quiet, lanky and somewhat uptight boy of 14 wandering around Luceti. He's confused and frustrated, hovering in any building or room or alleyway he can find and trying not to make too much of a ruckus. Looks like he's on a mission... one that he may or may not be completely comfortable with, with the way his expression keeps settling in a barely contained scowl.

He is supposed to be watching this stupid little kid, after all... not his fault that the younger boy keeps wandering off.

Or, okay, maybe it is his fault. But the kid is so damn curious...

The blonde is sticking his nose into all sorts of places as he tries to find that little responsibility of his. Feel free to approach him, or have him approached by you! Although... he does seem to be tensing quite a bit at the ladies. Hrk. Enjoy hearing that voice crack a couple octaves, girls.

May 30th he'll be back to his adult self... although he still seems to be distracted. Seems there's still a bitty redhead boy wandering around, and his ability to slip out of Guy's fingers hasn't changed with the passage of time. Now where the hell did he get off to...

May 31st, Guy sticks close to Community House 2. Attempts to talk to him will find him frustrated and highly distracted. Possibly because his roommate has parked himself on the roof of the building and refuses to move. Welp.

The rest of the week, Guy is perfectly normal. Dealing with the rest of the insanity... but normal, otherwise. Until the very end of the event.

June 5th, Guy is nowhere to be found. No answers to his journal, no strolls around the village. Why? Because he's too busy hiding in the corner of a really strange apartment, tears of confusion in his eyes. Being five years old is a scary thing, after all!

Later in the day, one might find a little blonde boy venturing out into the plaza... or trying as best as he can. More than likely he's spending his time cowering in whatever corner he can find, whimpering whenever a female passes by.]

Besides the outstanding amount of hair dangling off the building; that's kind of. Odd.]

[ Sitting nearby with her chin in her hands, watching this spectacle with a rather calm, neutral expression. Still, she'll call up to Luke. ]

What do you want us to do, anyway?

[And that girl, too. Why can't they understand? His eyes narrow, and he flips a hand through his hair, making it sway a little more.]

What do you think this is here for? I can't get down myself, it doesn't work like that!

[Florian's always been a curious kid, and so that mysterious blonde over there really catches his attention. Or her, I guess, because he's female today. As such, while Guy attempts to watch his baby redhead, he may notice he's being followed by a baby greenhead. Kid's not even being subtle about it.]

[He doesn't pick up on the second child for a little while - Luke keeps slipping out of his grasp and running on ahead, causing the teen to let out an aggravated sigh and give chase. It's only after the redhead's hand is firmly in his own that Guy finally turns to see the green-haired girl, following remarkably close behind.

W-whoa, hey... where did you come from?

[(S)he pauses at the question - though this probably isn't the kind of question that requires a thoughtful pause. Opens her mouth, closes it, looks around...motions vaguely behind her...]

[Hah... okay, that's not quite what he meant. His free hand runs through his hair, tightening his grip on Luke's wrist to keep him from squirming away again.]

Well... what are you doing wandering around, though? Where are your parents?

[Natalia is confused but she can see a familiar sight and it must be her imagination, he reminds her so much of Guy. She smiles a little as she walks over. ]

Are you having trouble with something?

[He jumps at the sound, shying away a couple steps as he glances over his shoulder. Nnnngh he didn't enjoy when girls caught him by surprise...

...

Huh. He didn't know the woman, but.. there was an aura of familiarity about her. He couldn't really place it. But that sense of regal authority in how she held herself? She had to be an aristocrat of some nature.

Hm.]

Ah... n-no ma'am. Just looking for someone. That's all.

[ She's not surprised to find him where she does -- keeping an eye on a still tiny, still slippery Luke. She's been doing her own part to keep an eye on her itsy bitsy boyfriend, though before, Guy was a teenager... she'd tried to keep her distance and not alarm him too much, but she wasn't going to leave Luke. She'd just tried to gently explain he was someone she cared about, and left it at that unless otherwise questioned.

But now he's an adult again, and still watching over Luke. That he's reverted to his normal state gives her momentary pause ... before she folds her hands in front of her, clasping them, and approaches. As always, she keeps a bit of distance so she doesn't scare him. But she stands close enough so they can talk, and both watch Luke. ]

So many potentially horrible conversations at once. Let's hope Nik doesn't die.

[Guy had been relieved to wake up as himself for once. Well... at least as the Guy he remembered. The past few days were a little bit of a blur, details just hazy enough to be hard to recall. But one thing still stood out - Luke was a child again. About as young as he could possibly be, although the initial recognition of his teenage self meant he was probably at least a couple months past his replication, if not older.

Not that it helped when he found the boy this morning. This was not the blonde that Luke was used to, and it showed - most of the morning had been spent trying to calm the younger boy down and let Guy touch him again.

But here they were, occupying themselves in a little cross-legged huddle along the edge of Community Building 2. Luke was in the process of a sudden, master plan to wriggle from Guy's lap; a surprised noise slipping out of his mouth, eyes trained on a small, white butterfly that had just fluttered past and finger pointing wildly. Guy manages a few calming words and a gentle laugh before finally noticing who stood nearby.

Oh hey, it's you! Have that same chipper smile from the last time you talked, Xion. It hasn't changed a bit.]

Hah, hey there. I was wondering when you'd be around.

[ Luke, sweet as can be, wins a very special, very fond sort of smile from her. She, too, sits, resting her chin on her hand as she watches him. There's something very precious about him when he's this small -- precious, and heartbreaking. After a moment, though, her gaze slides to Guy.

Her gaze isn't the easiest to read. Her smile remains, though it fades just a little, shifts into something a tiny bit lopsided and, well ... noncommittal. For a moment, she doesn't say anything, just watching him. ]

I've been around. Don't you remember? [ That Luke isn't scaring at her presence ought to say enough. ] Then again, you were, um, a little younger. [ She looks away from both boys, out over the road. ]

... I wanted to talk to you.

[He chuckles, running a hand gently through the younger boy's hair.] It's a bit fuzzy at times, but... yeah, I remember. Sorry if I was a little uncooperative, hah.

[Eyebrows raise as she speaks again, his head tilting slightly.] Mm? What about?

[Oh, Mieu is so happy to see Guy! Things have been so weird for the Cheagle-turned-Replica, but he's getting used to his new body! Sure, his voice is a bit...cheerful for Luke. And his ears are wiggling all the time. And he's only wearing shorts because he doesn't like the way clothes feel.

Oh, none of that matters! Have a not!Luke coming over to say hi while Guy searches around.]

There you are. What are you doing?

[The blonde glances over his shoulder with a start. Wait... what--]

Luke--?

[Disorientation galore right now, that's for sure. Dude, weren't you just ten about five minutes ago?? You know, before he lost sight of you?]

Well, I was looking for you, actually... what's the last thing you remember?

[Mieu shakes his head!]

Oh, I'm not Luke! It's me, Mieu! I woke up in Master's body, though.

[He is completely oblivious to the seriousness of things, since he pretty much got himself sick from eating grass for a day or two there.]

I was looking for Master, too! I haven't seen him lately...Mieuuu...

[He holds back a grimace at that last drawn-out word. Dear god, that's an annoying noise to hear coming out of Luke's mouth...]

Well, Lu... ah, Mieu, maybe you could help me out with that. Luke's been turned into a kid for right now - he's about ten. Still has the red hair and everything, just a lot shorter.

He wandered off a little earlier - not sure whether he's hiding or just got himself stuck somewhere, haha. But if you see him, be careful around him, alright? He doesn't really remember anyone right now... [Doubtful he'd react any differently to an older version of himself, but... well, it was Mieu. The cheagle wasn't really known for being delicate, after all.]

[Things have changed back.

There's still the lingering sense of living as a Luceti family on Nephry's mind as she goes around the village today - that same family ate her out of house and home in just a few days - but the figure in the corner doesn't escape her notice.

Is it best to keep her distance? He looks rather frightened.]

[Having nowhere to take cover at this particular moment, the little blonde boy had backed himself into a corner where two buildings met, his knees draw close and his arms wrapped over his head. He didn't know where he was, he didn't know where Pere was, he didn't know where home was anymore...

Oh... Oh, that... that lady, she's... looking at him....

At the sound of the woman's voice, he lets out a loud whimper, curling his hands tighter into his hair and ducking his face down against his knees. N-no, no, please don't notice him. Please leave him alone, he just wants Pere...]

[Sorry, Guy. She's coming closer, because...he looks so alone and afraid. Not close enough to touch him, but enough that she isn't raising her voice, she stops and crouches down, smiling.]

I'm not trying to scare you. You look lost. ...Perhaps I can help you find your way back.

[The boy bristles, eyes screwing shut as he hears her voice louder, her voice closer... Nope nope nope he isn't going to look up, she's going to be right there, nonono...

He draws himself in even tighter, his voice muffled and trembling against his legs.]
