Summary: It's that special time when the Malnosso collect all their recent experiments and apply them all at once to measure effectiveness. Although invaluable as research, it tends to leave the subjects looking just a bit mad.

[ This boy seems so confident.. With him talking like that she really does feel like she can entrust this to him, like he can really help her find the exit. She doesn't know him, but he doesn't seem like a bad person, not while he's smiling like that, so.. ]

I don't think anyone could forget you, Kotomi-chan. You're a cute and sweet kid, in the orphanages I've been in all parents want kids like you, so why would parents that already have you forget you?

Who knows? Where do you live? I could always come and visit you after I find my brother. We don't have a home so we can go wherever we want.

[ Exactly, it's not an idea she likes either. She doesn't really have friends, so.. having to let go of someone who's nice to her feels sad. So she just quietly thinks about it as she follows him until she hears his questions. ]

Really..? You could visit? I live Hikarizaka City.. [ .. ] You and your brother could stay for a bit sometimes, I think. My parents often go away, so then the house is really big and lonely and a little scary.. so.. it'd be nice.

I don't know where that place is... But it's not Tokyo, right? It may be safe there, I'll go there as soon as I find my brother.

[He smiles at her confidently. Really, maybe that was the problem all along, he stayed within Tokyo's streets and that made all those people able to follow him and Shun. Maybe if he went to another city they would stop.]

It's not in Tokyo. [ She's never even been there before, only heard of it from what she read in books.. Kotomi looks a little worried. ] ... It's not safe where you come from, Ikki-kun?

I suppose it is, but there are some scary people there who keep trying to take my brother and me to an orphanage and separate us. They don't get tired chasing us, it's annoying.

That's so scary.. Ikki-kun is so brave to deal with all of that, I could never do that..
