Event Log - Total Recall

What: Everyone's been Shifted in their own way
When: A hero doesn't care if this event last a whole ten days
Where: Everyone can blaze a hero's trail
Summary: It's that special time when the Malnosso collect all their recent experiments and apply them all at once to measure effectiveness. Although invaluable as research, it tends to leave the subjects looking just a bit mad.
Rating: Rated H for HEROIC

So there is a mod post and it pretty much tells you EVERYTHING you need to know. This is a mass log for people to comment around on if they don't want to make posts. Or even if they want to make posts anyway. There will be at least one more of these later in the event! ENJOY!

No, no. That program is for he and I alone. Anything for anyone else would be done in their home, or in a program with one of those terribly awkward and uncomfortable massage chairs. No Thai spa for anyone but Lupin. Or you, if you pop back up and I'm not Levarre. Or...

We could head down to the battledome now, if you like. You carry so much weight for yourself and for Lupin, Red. I'd think you've earned it.

Day 6

[Red hadn't wanted to ask it himself, but was sorely tempted to as their conversation drew onward. He had been tasked with being an anchor, for more than just Lupin and himself. He needed to watch out for Luke, for Goldie, for Adele. He needed to watch out for the people connected to them...

It could only work for so long.]

Could we? I wouldn't say that I earned it, but it sounds like the best idea I've heard all day.

Day 6

We'd best head out before someone else takes all the rooms then.

[He keeps his arm looped around Red's shoulders as he stands, pulling the slim woman up along with him. It's a little awkward, and he stumbles at the end, but they're up, and he's laughing. How many times had Remy done that to him in reverse?]

Day 6

[Red chuckles at Adele's awkward attempts at guiding him along, willingly accepting the assistance even though he could have easily pulled himself up. His smile is warm and calm for the first time that day, and he moves in to embrace the doctor.]

[He loops his arms around Red's waist, as easy as anything really. It was almost habitual, an inch to the left from instinctive. Just. Different with their respective swapped genders.]

...I'm sorry she wasn't here longer. For you. [And that is the absolute last he'll say on the matter.] You need someone to hold you up sometimes as well Red.

[Everything felt different and strange with this shift, more than just their swapped bodies. Red wraps an arm across Adele's shoulders for added support, and to make the passage more comfortable.]

If the Malnosso are as cruel as they seem? Goldie will be back, somehow and someway. Probably when you don't expect it.

[He wasn't trying to be cold, or start another fight. He was simply stating a fact as he saw it.]

...I can bear this, Adele. It's not that hard. You...[He chuckles.] You could stand to learn it yourself.

Day 6

Tell me something I do not already know.

[The rest is...summarily ignored. Because he'd more or less said her thoughts on the matter a moment before. He knows. He's working on it. And in time, he'll shoulder his own issues- or at least try. And then someone would say something or offer to lean or be upset that he's doing that and as questions and it'd start all over again. He didn't know if he ought to laugh or be frustrated. So. He laughs.

God knows he's tired of being so frustrated.]
