Who: You and you and mostly me and you
What: Everyone's been Shifted in their own way
When: A hero doesn't care if this event last a whole ten days
Where: Everyone can blaze a hero's trail
Summary: It's that special time when the Malnosso collect all their recent experiments and apply them all at once to measure effectiveness. Although invaluable as research, it tends to leave the subjects looking just a bit mad.
Rating: Rated H for HEROIC

So there is a mod post and it pretty much tells you EVERYTHING you need to know. This is a mass log for people to comment around on if they don't want to make posts. Or even if they want to make posts anyway. There will be at least one more of these later in the event! ENJOY!

Why would they do that?

Not the social sort; they sunburn easy. Maybe they wanna avoid the craziness. There's all sorts of reasons.

What's sunburn?

It's what you call it when your skin turns red, after staying out too long on the sun. Hurts like a bitch.

I've never seen something like that happen before. But I don't know what a sun is either.

That? That's a star. Or that's what we call them back home.

Aa? Technically we do too. It's just an extra special one.

What makes it special?

It helps things grow. And it provides warmth and light during the day.

... Other stars don't do that?

Not in the same way.

Why not?

It's one-of-a-kind as far as stars go, in most galaxies. If we were any closer to it, we'd burn up. Any farther away and we'd freeze.

... Oh. [ nope, still not getting it. ] Well I guess that's enough reason to give it its own name.

I don't think about it much.
