Who: YOU AND ME! THAT SPELLS... MOUYE?
What: More event shenanigans

Where: All around Luceti. Actually that's wrong. Anywhere INSIDE Luceti.
Summary: It's that special time when the Malnosso collect all their recent experiments and apply them all at once to measure effectiveness. Although invaluable as research, it tends to leave the subjects looking just a bit mad.

So there is a mod post and it pretty much tells you EVERYTHING you need to know. This is a second log so people can change up their effects and try something new, jump into the event late, or just avoid the impending CAPTCHA on the first log.

[Orerines swimsuits may make seeing people at the beach really weird, but, since she doesn't really understand the difference between them and modern underwear, this makes this not a whole lot weirder a sight to her. ~~Which is good because it gives an out for why I forgot about Rin's own state of dress a couple of comments back.~~]

I want you to find something for me! I shouldn't have to deal with something that's not my fault!

I'd still need to walk away to get your the stuff! [And now he's going to get a bruise. He totally aches from that punch, ow]

...How was I supposed to know that's what you were doing? [She's going to do her best to not feel sorry for giving him the bruise.]

What else would I be doing?! [He can't even turn to get away from this can he? HE's got his eyes screwed shut but...]

Runni -- fine, whatever! Just...do it, okay? [Her eyes dart around as she looks to see if there is a convenient bush anywhere nearby.]

Fine, then I will just do it! [.....Buuuut as soon as he takes a step to turn away from her the world distorts some and... suddenly he's in some sort of forest?!

No actually he just shrunk such that the grass is towering over him]

[Well, at least he's moving quickly about i -- no, wait, that's the entire world that's rushing about. And then...she supposes she must have teleported like on the first day. Ugh!]

Not again!

Where the hell are we?! [Seriously, this looks like a jungle. What even are these huge leaf-tree things]

[She has had enough unfortunate incidents with teleporting that she can now say the word "teleport" and have it sound only partially awkward. Sort of a "tel - le - ported."]

Ugh, we must have gotten teleported to --

[...Where the heck are they?] ...Huh?

There's a rainforest in Luceti?! Isn't this a rainforest?!

A...? [BUT IT'S NOT RAINING.... (Fenimore fails geography.)

Ugh, she doesn't care anymore. She plops down on the ground, low amount of clothing or not.] Whatever. Wherever we are, it can't take that long before we return to somewhere we know, right?

[...She hopes.]

O...Oh, yeah, probably. [And making sure he's not facing her and with his tail curling around himself, he goes to sit too. That said. e's feeling antsy, and sort of wants to look around fruitlessly anyway]

[Fenimore, meanwhile, was more content to just wait. Though that was the only thing she was content with. Now that she was less incensed, she was free to dwell on the fact that that was more of Rin she had ever wanted to see. It's even worse than most looser male swimsuits....

She shakes her head. Definitely no dwelling on that. But that leaves her free to dwell on the realization that this doesn't look like anywhere in Luceti. Are they even still in the right place? Will they return if they just wait?

Ugh, this is getting her nowhere. She leans back, irritable, and looks up towards the sky.

...Perhaps she can dwell instead on the visage of the terrible monster staring down at her from the strange trees.

It would be nice to be more like how she was that week she had thought she was from Shiemi and Rin's world. Her reaction would probably have been more proactive than screaming.]

[And Rin wheels around now to see-] Is that the Chuchi thing?! [The lord of the forest?! It looks like it might be! His eyes go wide, half because of the monster, and half because looking back in Fenimore's direction reminded him of the fact she's more or less naked. And that he's more or less naked. Still, he goes to run up to between her and the monster, his flames spreading around him as he goes. Not in demon form, but]

[She flinches back, briefly forgetting again their state of undress as she once again fights the fear response in face of the flames. It doesn't take too long to get that under control, though -- she's seen the flames enough in a...well, not dangerous situation, if not in positive situations. It's just a moment of survival instinct.

But when the ~~catapillar~~ monster bends its body backwards to rear up in response to Rin, that fear response is back and she scrambles back. Sure, the actual reason is that the catapillar is basically flinching back at the flames out of fear, but to Fenimore it looks like it is rearing to attack.]

O...Oi! Monster thing! Back off, and we don't gotta fight!

[He shouts this in such a way he's pretty sure it'll broadcast on his weird Demon Telepathy thing. He tries to look Imposing between the bug and the girl so that he can scare it off]

[It's hard to know if catapillars are receptive to Demon Telepathy (or if bugs talk in Luceti like other animals ~~mosquitos buzzing in your ears would be doubly annoying~~), but regardless the catapillar decides Fuck That Noise and turns to crawl back up the plant it was residing on. We Out.

Fenimore makes it as far as the] Th -- [in "thanks" before she realizes that they are still in a state of extreme undress and turns away, interrupting her train of gratitude.]

What was that thing? -- And don't turn around!

[Looking away, she has no idea if he was about to or not, but still.]

I'm not gonna! [Turn around, that is. But his tail may or may not brush on her flesh just due to the positioning. He's watching where the caterpillar went, his flames dying down] But I dunno.

[She squeaks as the tail brushes her and she spins on instinct -- augh, she just did what she told him not to and it was just this weird tail. Annoyed, she smacks it away from her as she turns back because she has no idea about demon weaknesses or anything and his tail brushing her is clearly the thing to be focusing on right now. Priorities!]

-Ouch! [That hurt. SIGH. He slumps dejectedly, because while he would go to yell at her but man he can't blame her]

[She takes the ouch as a sign of Rin being wussy rather than the tail being sensitive, but it does sate her irritation at getting surprised (and also the feeling of the tail over bare skin was weird).]

Someone would have said if there was something like that in Luceti...I think. [Well, Rin had already noted from the foilage that this probably wasn't Luceti, but there'd be more room for Fenimore to deny it before.] But...we can't be outside the barrier, right? They don't do that. [The Malnosso, that is.]

I don't know, you've been here longer... But it doesn't sound like something they'd do from what I know. [He looks around some more - it looks like a jungle, but really, it doesn't feel all that much warmer. That's weird, right?]

Then it's...probably not tel-e-porting. [She is learning to pronounce that word better!!] But...ugh, I can't think of anything else it could be!

Well, I could probably get a look from the top of this tree [fern? big... green thing] but...

[That would be leaving her alone]
