What: The Cultural Fair
When: June 5th- 12th - admittedly dates are sort of nebulous - set up could have begun as early as the 5th, but given the event recently, more days could have been taken to do it and for people to involve themselves, so it probably "officially" starts a little later (by the 8th at the very least, though work can go on throughout it) - feel free to use your judgement/have fun!

Notes: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier.

Work probably started for it on the 5th-7/8th for labor purposes, though feel free to use dates to your advantage here! (Even if characters slapdash something at the last minute, it would be fun to see! It would even be encouraged after the crazy from the last event - kind of a way to get back in touch with themselves.)

CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth. (Helios and Ikki made posts in regard to it and there have been art club posters around, so anyone could have noticed those as well!)

I'll leave descriptions up to you all as there isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about their presentations and how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. Just keep in mind that this takes place in the plaza, there shouldn't be an issue with blocking traffic (there may be ropes up to try and keep pathways clear, however!), though it may branch around various points of the square depending on where someone wants a booth located / the number of actual participants. The square will also have a lot of brightly colored signs and decorations indicating what is going on!

For ideas/reference on how it was handled last time, feel free to look through here! There's no official signup, so go forth!

"Time might do it for you. If not- well." She smiles and lifts a shoulder. A pirate is a pirate and Jack, for all his strangeness and piracy, is a friend. Someone she trusts and worries for frequently. "I like them just as they are."

Oh yeah? Should we call it a date and skip on over?

[He won't let that bother him. He knows he can be a bit of a mess when not in the palace.]

[Another net catches it easily and she tosses it up in the air, catching it readily.]

But yes, you are correct. Aside from China-san, I am one of the older Nations still in existence. I remember Rome-san coming when I was a child, and I believe that was near the height of his power.

[Japan pauses.]

[Totoro shakes his head and points off towards another stall. That feels okay to him!]

Sometimes I am honestly surprised by how few people are here.

[Her gaze follows the other girl's, and she raises an eyebrow.]

What's wrong? I can pretty much promise you everyone over at that booth doesn't bite.

Maybe on her world. Mine, though, it's just regular folks with a lot of training behind them. No special powers or being the chosen one or anything like that.

[ Oh dear. Helios manages to not jolt his hand away at that comment. Though he does flinch and a prominent frown quickly forms then disappears from his face. He laughs as he rubs the back of his neck, sheepish and awkward. ] O-Oh, ah, n-no. Just-just have poor circulation is-is all. I-I'm sorry if I s-startled you.

[ He looks away before shaking his head. ] It's nothing to worry about. Thank you for the concern and the offer.

[It was rare that Tear be occupied enough that someone would bump into her, but that was what happened when she looked forward in time to bump into Cross. She was only startled really, and it takes no time to regain her composure and offer an apologetic smile.]

[This was supposed to be a comfortable, of slightly intimate moment really, and it's the sudden sound of Jade's taunts that makes Tear stop in her tracks and hastily seek him out, blush already apparent with what little he's said. Surely that hadn't been their intention!]

Colonel, we didn't come looking for any such thing! [... Right?]

[Tear's attention had been on a booth when Frey calls out to Masaomi, and she follows his gaze to him before he starts with his joke.

A joke that completely flies over her head, stopping her in mid-wave. What was so funny?] Excuse me?

[The joke flies over Frey's head as well, with him not knowing what a PDA was, and there's a curious, confused look sent Masaomi's way.] Ringing....?
